Prepare for Status Ailments

Peach_StatusAilmentCountermeasures

Smithy, in his second form, has multiple moves that inflict status ailments on the entire party. Prioritize equipping Peach, the healer, with accessories that can counter all status ailments.

Defeat the Smelter First

Smelter

The Smelter produces 'Freshly Made Shypers.' Freshly Made Shypers use the party-wide attack 'Rain Sword,' so if multiple are produced, maintaining HP becomes difficult.

Having Konpeito Candies Provides Stability

If multiple Freshly Made Shypers are generated, it's recommended to use the item 'Konpeito Candy' for a party-wide attack. Geno Wave can enhance the damage of Konpeito Candies, so use them in combination.

Maneuver While Using Peach for Party Healing

Healing

In the Smithy battle, party-wide attacks are used frequently, so be careful of the possibility of being defeated all at once when HP is low. Always keep HP topped up with a comfortable margin.

Weaknesses Differ for Each Form in the Latter Half of the Battle

Form Change

When Smithy's HP is reduced to a certain point, the battlefield changes, and Smithy's form changes. Attack patterns and weaknesses will change, so accurately exploit weaknesses to deal damage efficiently.
