Exor Strategy and Countermeasures

  • Counter magic with Mute
  • Defeat the Left Eye to remove the barrier
  • Geno Whirl is effective against the main body

Counter magic with Mute

Counter magic with Mute

Exor possesses powerful magic for each part. As a countermeasure, it's recommended to use Peach's Mute to inflict Mute on all parts and seal their magic.

Mute becomes an AoE attack with successful action command

If the action command for Mute is successful, it targets all enemies. It's an action that requires rotating the left stick, so be prepared before using it.

Reapply Mute immediately if it wears off

If the Mute status inflicted on Exor wears off, it's troublesome if it uses magic, so reapply it immediately.

Defeat the Left Eye to remove the barrier

Defeat the Left Eye to remove the barrier

Exor's main body cannot be damaged unless one of its eyes is destroyed. Therefore, focus attacks on the Left Eye, which has lower HP, to remove the main body's barrier.

Eyes are weak to Jump

Exor's eyes are weak to Jump. Mario should use Jump attacks to damage the eyes.

Defeating the main body ends the fight

If you can defeat Exor's main body, the battle will end at that point and you will clear it. Therefore, once the barrier is removed, ignore the other parts and focus attacks on the main body to defeat it.

Geno Whirl is effective against the main body

Geno Whirl is effective against the main body

Geno Whirl is effective against Exor's main body. A successful action command can deal 9999 damage. Although it's somewhat of a hidden trick, if you want to defeat it quickly, use Geno Whirl after defeating one eye and removing the barrier.

Flavor Text

Exor

  1. Exor

As long as my lower eye is dark,
    I'm invincible!!

It was created in imitation of the legendary sword ExExor,
but since swords don't originally exist in Mario's world,
Mario probably wouldn't know such a legend.

Right Eye

  1. Right Eye

    My vision is 0.3.
    And I have astigmatism, too.

Just as hands have a dominant hand, eyes have a dominant eye.
Since this Right Eye has more HP than the Left Eye,
it seems Exor's dominant eye is the right one.

Left Eye

  1. Left Eye

    My vision is 0.7.
    Inspections are by intuition.

The author's vision is 0.1 with astigmatism, and on top of that,
presbyopia has been advancing recently, so writing this manuscript
    is quite a struggle.

Mouth

  1. Mouth

    Weak, you're too weak!

When you eat something delicious, they say "the flavor spreads in your mouth,"
but what spreads in Exor's mouth is a subspace
    connected to the weapon world.
