Visit after obtaining the Star Piece at Star Hill

After obtaining the Star Piece at Star Hill, you can visit Ripple Town.

Purchase limited-time items at the item shop

On your first visit, the villagers are acting strangely, and only the item shop is available. However, this item shop is for a limited time and will become unavailable after clearing the next area. You can also purchase valuable items, so be sure to check it out.

You can ask about the Star Piece at the Elder's house

If you go to the Elder's house, you can hear that the Star Piece fell into the sea. After that, you will be able to go to the Sunken Ship.

Proceed to the passage in front

Proceed from before the room with the shop.

Get your equipment at the shop

At the shop, you can purchase Geno's Hand Gun and Bowser's Chomp. These are strong weapons at this point, so buy them.

You can defeat enemies with a Star

If you proceed to the passage in front, you can get a Star from a treasure chest. Defeat the surrounding enemies while moving forward.

There is a treasure chest in the back room

Before proceeding, go to the room in the back right to find a treasure chest. It contains a Mushroom, Flower, and Frog Coin, so get them.

Enter the whirlpool and go to the back room

After proceeding, enter the whirlpool and go to the back room. Go up and you can get an Ultra Mushroom from a treasure chest.

Go outside and enter the whirlpool

Once outside, enter the whirlpool and move through the water.

Go to the Sunken Ship from the pipe

After going down the whirlpool, enter the pipe on the left to go to the Sunken Ship.

Proceed to the door in the back left

Once you enter the Sunken Ship, first proceed to the door in the back left. There is a save block in the back right room, so you can save there.

Proceed to the door in the back

Proceed to the back of the room where the Greaper is.

Proceed further in

Proceed through the door at the back of the room with the Greaper and Dry Bones. Dry Bones can only be defeated with magic attacks, so if you want to conserve FP, try to avoid fighting them.

Go down the stairs

Go down the stairs where the Alley Rat (mouse) is, proceed, and get coins from the treasure chest. There is a Flower between the wooden boxes before the stairs, so get it.

1st Hint Room

In the first hint room, you need to guide the Paratroopa and drop a cannonball onto the switch. Go to the back from the left side of the wooden box, then go around to the right and come to the front to drop it successfully.

2nd Hint Room

In the second hint room, you need to press the switch on the wooden box, stop the trampoline, and place the cannonball on the switch. Refer to the image for the position to stop the trampoline.

3rd Hint Room

In the 3rd room, you need to navigate a 3D maze and press a switch. This is the most difficult of the hint rooms and is very challenging. If you get stuck, you can give up by pressing the - button.

How to proceed

Defeat Dry Bones and get coins from the treasure chest

Proceed to the back to find a treasure chest. There is a Dry Bones nearby, so defeat it once and get coins from the treasure chest. If the Dry Bones revives, defeat it again and proceed.

There is a shop

If you talk to the monster in the same room, it will sell you equipment and items. If you are short on items, stock up.

4th Hint Room

In the 4th hint room, you need to keep collecting moving coins. The coins disappear after a certain time, so collect them quickly. Also, be careful as taking the first coin will not give you a hint.

5th Hint Room

In the 5th hint room, you need to jump and hit the wooden box with a cannonball. Pushing the lower wooden box on the left side of the room will fire the cannonball. You need to hit it consecutively, so move with good rhythm.

6th Hint Room

For the 6th hint, you need to press two switches. Jump on the differently colored barrel in the upper right to make it fall, then move it to the switch and have Mario step on the remaining one.

Enter the keyword

Entering the 6 letters will open the door to proceed. Once you set the keywords, examine the speaking tube (metal cylinder).

Fight Tentacles and Blooper

Proceed through the door and you will fight Tentacles. After fighting the Tentacles twice, Blooper will appear and the battle will begin.

Proceed from the 2nd floor

After defeating Blooper, proceed from the trampoline room and enter the door on the 2nd floor. There is nothing special beyond the door on the 1st floor, so there is no need to go there.

Proceed while avoiding Bullet Bills

After proceeding through the door, avoid the fired Bullet Bills and go to the back. If you are hit by a Bullet Bill and fall, you will need to go to the 2nd floor again.

Go down the stairs

Go down the stairs in the room with the Alley Rat and proceed.

Get the treasure chest

Proceed and you will find two treasure chests on top of wooden boxes. Get on the barrel in the back and then onto the wooden boxes to get the treasure chests.

Avoid Fake Mario and proceed

Proceed through the door and Fake Mario will appear. Talking to him will trigger a battle with enemy monsters and Fake Mario will disappear, so try not to talk to him.

There is a hidden treasure chest

There is a wooden box near the middle, and hitting it will reveal a treasure chest. Get on Fake Mario and hit the treasure chest. You can get on Fake Mario by dashing and jumping.

Go down the stairs

Go down the stairs beyond the door and proceed. There is nothing behind the wooden box on the left, only a Dry Bones, so you don't need to go there.

Get a Mushroom from the treasure chest

You can get a Mushroom from the treasure chest on the left side of the room. It can restore health, so get it. There is also a save block, so save your game.

Hidon is here

Hidon appears from the treasure chest in the back. You can get the Amulet if you defeat it, so you'll want to fight it. However, Hidon is strong, so be sure to save beforehand.

Enter the whirlpool and go left

Follow the path, enter the whirlpool, go left, and get a Frog Coin. Then return to the whirlpool room, proceed through the door, and go down the stairs.

Get on the barrel and proceed

In the room with the Blooper, get on the barrel on the right side and go up to find a door to proceed.

Get the Safety Ring

There is a hidden door on the left side of the room with the Blooper, and the Safety Ring is beyond it. It prevents instant death and status ailments, so equipping it on Peach makes healing easier and gives you an advantage in battle.

Fight Bandana Red

Proceed to the back and you will fight Bandana Red twice. They are not strong, so defeat them with normal attacks.

Fight Jonathan

After defeating Bandana Red, proceed and you will fight the boss, Jonathan. He is a tough enemy, so prepare thoroughly.

Give the Star Piece to the Fake Elder

At the village entrance, you will be threatened to hand over the collected Star Pieces. The reward you receive from the real Elder after defeating the boss changes depending on how many times you refuse.

Rewards for each choice

If you don't hand it over obediently, the Elder will be in trouble...

In terms of rewards, it's better to hand it over immediately. If you refuse 3 times, the Elder will be tickled by his four underlings.

Head to the coast from the northwest of the village

The Fake Elders seem to be escaping from the coast northwest of the village. If you chase them and corner them on the coast, Jonathan will block their path from the sea. After the conversation, you will fight Yaridovich.

Fight Yaridovich

Yaridovich frequently uses party-wide attacks. Fight while healing with Peach. The clones can be distinguished with Mallow's "Psychopath," and "Thunderbolt" is effective as it hits his weakness.
