Things to do in Monstro Town

Find out how to get to Bean Valley

Monster Granny

If you talk to the Monster Granny in the leftmost house in Monstro Town, she will tell you how to get to Bean Valley. Ride the Paratroopa Troop and aim for the top of the cliff.

How to get to Paratroopa Troop

If Paratroopa Troop is missing

After the event where you meet the "Paratroopa Troop" in Monstro Town, a bug may occur where the Paratroopa Troop does not appear even if you go to Country Road. In this case, if you move to Mushroom Kingdom once and then return to Country Road, the Paratroopa Troop will appear.

You can get the Temple Key

In Monstro Town, enter the house with the key outside, and if you talk to Thwomp several times, the key will fall down. Get it and return to Belome Temple.

You can do the flag hunt

Enter the room to the right of the item shop and rest, and enemy monsters will appear. They will invite you to play a flag-hunting game, so look for the flags in each area. After finding them, if you sleep again, you will receive the "Ghost Medal".

Behind the wooden flower

It's behind the wooden flower at the entrance of Rose Town.

Under the green bed

Dry Bones

It's under the bed in Mario's house.

It's between the O and A of GOAL on Yo'ster Isle.

You can fight Jinx

Jinx

Enter the room on the second floor of Monstro Town, and there will be a conversation with Jagger and Bowser. After that, fight and defeat Jagger, and Jinx will appear, and you can fight him. If you win 3 times, you will get the Jinx Belt.

Jinx is very strong

Jinx uses a variety of attacks, making him very strong. When you first visit Monstro Town, it's highly likely you won't be able to win, so level up sufficiently and try challenging him after obtaining items like the Lazy Shell.

You can find out the number of Super Jumps

If you talk to the treasure chest monster on the second floor of the leftmost house in Monstro Town, it will tell you the number of remaining hidden treasure chests. There is no particular reward even if you find them all and talk to it.

Tells you about the Gardener's house

If you talk to the mouse next to the treasure chest monster, you can hear about an old man who moved to Rose Town. After that, if you go to the back of Rose Town, the Gardener's house will appear.

Give the Seed and Fertilizer

If you give the Seed and Fertilizer to the Gardener in Rose Town, you can get the Lazy Shell. It's Mario's strongest weapon, so be sure to get it.

There is a hidden treasure chest

There is a hidden treasure chest to the left of the entrance to Monstro Town.

You can fight Culex

Culex

In Monstro Town, if you open the sealed door with a Shiny Stone, you can fight the secret boss Culex. He is the strongest enemy in this game, so if you fight him, prepare thoroughly and take on the challenge.

Rematch is possible

You can fight Culex again after clearing the main story. Try challenging him as a post-game element.

How to get to Monstro Town

Go to Belome Temple from Country Road

Country Road

You can get to Monstro Town from Belome Temple. After following the path in Country Road, enter the whirlpool with the ants, and you can go to Belome Temple.

Defeat Belome

Belome

Once you reach Belome Temple, proceed to the end and defeat Belome. Belome will appear when you get the message "Mmm. I'm hungry~" from the second Belome fortune.

If you talk to Thwomp living in Monstro Town 7 times, the key above the house will fall. If you use it in Belome Temple, you can obtain items such as Frog Coins.

Gardener's House Information

Talking to the mouse on the 2nd floor of a Monstro Town house

If you talk to the mouse enemy monster, the Gardener's house will appear north of Rose Town. If you have the Seed and Fertilizer, you can obtain the Lazy Shell.
