Boo's Flag: Yo'ster Isle
Boo's flag is located between the O and A of the "GOAL" sign on the race course of Yo'ster Isle.
Dry Bones's Flag: Mario's House
Dry Bones's flag is on Mario's bed in his house. You can obtain it by pressing a button on the bed.
Greaper's Flag: Rose Town
Greaper's flag is in Rose Town. It's behind the wooden sign that says "Welcome" at the entrance.
Flag Search Rewards
Collect 3 Flags to get the Ghost Medal
If you collect all 3 flags and sleep in the bed again, you will receive the "Ghost Medal" accessory as a reward. The Ghost Medal is a powerful accessory that doubles your defense when equipped.
How to Unlock Flags Search
Sleep in the room with only a bed in Monstro Town
You can start the Flag Search in the rightmost house on the lowest level of Monstro Town. When you enter, there's a room with only a bed. Sleep in the bed, and 3 ghosts will appear, starting the Flag Search quest.
Press a button at specific locations to get the Flag
The 3 flags are hidden in specific locations. You can't see anything, but if you press a button at those spots, you can obtain the flag.
Sleep to hear hints about the hidden locations
If you sleep in the bed in Monstro Town, you can hear hints about the flag locations one by one.
