Booster Tower Strategy Party

Recommended Party

We recommend Mario, Mallow and Bowser, who joins your party in Booster Tower. He is superior to Geno in both offense and defense, so it's recommended to swap them. Mario's Whimsical Hammer and Bowser's Chain Chomp can be obtained within Booster Tower.

Entrance: Bowser Joins the Party

Bowser Joins

When you visit Booster Tower, Bowser is at the entrance. The entrance is locked, but if you head towards the exit, Bowser will open it for you. He will then join your party, so enter the tower.

1F Hall: To the 2nd Floor via the Stairs in the Back Left

1F

Upon entering the tower, a Snifit is at the front reception. Be careful, as talking to it will trigger a battle. The room accessible from the front passage only contains a seesaw, so climb the steps in the back left of the hall to go up to the 2nd floor.

Remember the Portraits

Generations of Boosters

Portraits of past Boosters are displayed. You'll need to remember their appearance and generation number to obtain the key for the 'Ancestor Room' later.

2F Stairs: Snifits Descend in a Line

Hidden Treasure Chest

Snifits descend in a single file line on the stairs from the 2nd to the 3rd floor. You can avoid battle by walking along the wall. Also, there's a hidden treasure chest where you reach the 3rd floor, so try jumping.

3F: Converse with Booster

Converse with Booster

When you reach the 3rd-floor passage, Booster appears riding a toy train. After a conversation, Booster leaves to the left of the passage.

Battle with a Snifster

If you chase Booster, his underlings will appear and a battle will ensue. If you follow the tracks in the opposite direction, you can obtain a 'Flower Capsule'.

'Flower Capsule' at the End

Right Passage

Meanwhile, at the end of the right passage where the train departed, there's a 'Flower Capsule', so don't forget to get it.

3F Stairs: Bob-ombs Are Patrolling

Bob-omb

Bob-ombs are patrolling the stairs from the 3rd to the 4th floor. You can avoid battle by walking slowly instead of dashing.

Jumping Spot for the Seesaw

Seesaw

When you enter the room, the footing is broken and there's a treasure chest. If you jump, you can descend to the room on the 1st floor where a Bob-omb is on a seesaw. You can use the seesaw to get the 'Whimsical Hammer'.

4F: Press the Switch

Switch

There is a '?' switch in the room. Pressing it will change the terrain in 'Rose Way', the area on the way to Booster Tower.

4F Stairs: Enter the Curtains

Retro

At the top of the stairs, there's a space hidden by curtains. If you enter, you can transform into the Famicom version of Mario once. You'll revert to normal when you leave the room, so have some fun.

5F: Avoid Bullet Bills and Enter the Room

Bullet Bill

A Snifit is waiting on the ledge, and when you climb the stairs, Snifster No. 3 is firing Bullet Bills from its mouth.

6F: Bob-ombs Are Patrolling

Bob-omb

Bob-ombs are patrolling the ledges. You can avoid battle by climbing at the right time.

7F: Save Point and 'Ancestor Room'

Ancestor Room

There's a save point on the 7th floor. Further ahead, portraits of past Boosters are displayed. Examine the portraits in order from the 1st to the 7th generation Booster, matching them with the ones displayed in the 1F hall.

A Chain Chomp is Here

A captured Chain Chomp is in the Ancestor Room. It's a weapon for Bowser, so get it here and equip it.

7F: Jump on the Thwomp's Seesaw

Thwomp

Climb the stairs to find a Thwomp on a seesaw. There's a treasure chest containing a Mushroom further in, so don't forget to open it. Jumping onto the seesaw will launch you to the upper floor.

8F: Jump Across Platforms

Snifit

On the 8th floor, the platforms are separated, requiring you to jump across. Also, Snifits will descend by parachute.

Frog Coin in Hidden Passage

Frog Coin

There's a Frog Coin at the end of the passage where the Snifit is walking, so be sure to get it.

9F: Proceed Through the Mine Room

The 9th floor is a 'Mine Room' where stepping on certain tiles causes Remlits to appear. There are no mines where coins are located. You can proceed by exiting the room through the door in the upper left.

Treasure Chest in the Back Right

Zoom Shoes

There's a key on the right side of the room. Enter the upper right room to get the 'Zoom Shoes'.

9F Stairs: Avoid Chain Chomps

Chain Chomp Area

The exit in the back left of the Mine Room leads to stairs with Chain Chomps. You can avoid them by walking along the wall or jumping.

10F: Booster Drops Bob-ombs

Reunion with Booster

Another conversation event with Booster occurs. He drops Bob-ombs from above, but they will explode and disappear if you exit the room.

Treasure Chest at Save Point

Save Point

After talking with Booster, climb the stairs to the 11th floor, which has a save point. There's a treasure chest that can be opened by jumping straight up to it, but if you jump on top of this chest, there's also a hidden treasure chest, so don't forget to open it.

Enter Booster's Room

Booster

Once in Booster's room, you can peek at the balcony from the exit. After a conversation with Peach, Booster and his gang will enter the room, so hide behind the curtains.

Try the Curtain Game

Curtain Game

The Snifsters will open the curtains one by one, so hide well. Eventually, there will be three Snifsters, leaving only one hiding spot, and Booster will open the curtain. By giving him the Mario doll, you can get the 'Booster's Charm'.

If You Fail, You'll Fight Booster

If the curtain is opened and Mario is found, you will have to fight Booster. Try to avoid this, as it's right before a boss battle.

Boss Battle on the Balcony

Clown Bros.

Exiting Booster's room onto the balcony leads directly into a boss battle against the Clown Bros. (Knife Guy and Grate Guy).

  • - Equip the Fearless Pin
  • - The brothers have different weaknesses
  • - Defeat Knife Guy first
  • - Use Bowser to inflict fear on the enemies

Descend from the Balcony to Booster Hill

End

Chasing Booster, Mario and his friends head straight from the tower to Booster Hill.

Juggling Minigame After Clearing

Minigame: Guess Which Hand Holds the Juggled Ball

Playable in Booster Tower After Peach Joins

The juggling game is a minigame playable in Booster Tower. Knife Guy juggles, and it's a simple game where you guess which hand the yellow ball ended up in.
