Some of the Best Armor are One-of-a-Kind

You can only obtain one Super Suit and one Lazy Shell, so only one character can equip them. Other characters should use their exclusive armor or the Work Pants instead.

Geno's and Bowser's Armor Have Modest Stats

Geno's and Bowser's exclusive armors have more modest stats than other characters'. It's better to prioritize equipping them with other best armor pieces.

Obtained by Achieving 100 Super Jumps

The Super Suit can be received as a reward from the Chow in the house on the 2nd floor of Monstro Town after successfully performing 100 consecutive Super Jumps.

Since you can't get multiple Super Suits, if you want to build an offense-focused party, the purchasable "Work Pants" are an option. Their defense is low, but they boost Attack and Magic Attack.

The Work Pants can be purchased for 22 coins anytime after you reach Moleville.

Although it has the drawback of lowering Attack, Magic Attack, and Speed, it is undoubtedly the best in terms of durability. Can be equipped by any character.

Available After Clearing Nimbus Land

The best defensive armor, Lazy Shell, becomes available at the earliest after clearing Nimbus Land.

Get the Fertilizer and Seed

The "Fertilizer" and "Seed" are required to proceed with the event to get the weapon. If you haven't obtained them yet, get them first.
