Does Ice Attacks That Can Freeze You
The Skraev is a Frost Behemoth that has similar attacks to the Shrike. It has ice attacks capable of freezing Slayers and it can build walls of ice, shooting them up from the ground that can do big damage.
Winterhorn Skraev Currently Isn't In-Game
The Skraev's variant Behemoth, the Winterhorn Skraev, is not currently in the game. Information about the Behemoth will be confirmed once it appears in Dauntless.
Useful Perks & Cells Vs. Skraev
Wear Frost Armor & Use Blaze Weapons
The Skraev will receive more damage if you use Blaze weapons against it. And you can lessen the Frost damage it does on you by equipping your strongest Frost armor.

The Skraev can freeze you if you hit its stalagmites on the ground. You can lessen your Frozen duration by equipping several Warmth Cells or Perks.
Dangerous Moves & How To Boop
Shoots Ice Projectiles That Can Freeze You
Like the Shrike, the Skraev also shoots projectiles from its wings but it instead creates ice mines on the ground that will freeze you when you're hit. Dodge horizontally to avoid this attack.
Keep Pressing Dodge Button To Break From Ice
When you're caught in the Skraev's ice, you need to keep pressing the dodge button to break free. This will prevent you from being stationary too long and being susceptible to any of Skraev's next attacks.
Shoots Ice Projectiles Twice When Enraged
When the Skraev is enraged, this attack is done twice, one with each wing. Just dodge twice to avoid getting hit and being frozen in place.
Creates Ice Wall From The Ground
When you see the Skraev digging in front of itself, it'll pull ice from the ground to create a wall, immediately move behind it avoid getting hit by the ice shooting up from the ground.
Attack Is Incoming When Skraev Starts Digging
When the Skraev starts digging, this is your cue to move towards its side or behind it. It'll pull up an ice wall from the ground in the next few seconds.
When Enraged, Ice Wall Has Wider Area
When the Skraev is enraged, the ice wall it pulls from the ground will be wider in front of it. Be sure to move towards its back or sides in order not to take full brunt of this attack's damage.
Jumps & Slams Into Ground To Make Ice Wall
The Skraev will jump up and slam its fists into the ground, creating a small wall of ice around it. This will instantly freeze you when you're hit so dodge away right before its fists hit the ground.
Boop When It Glides Toward You
You can bring down the Skraev when it's gliding towards you. Use a heavy attack or any attack that is capable of booping to knock it out of the sky.
Skraev Charges Before Gliding
You'll know the Skraev is ready to glide when it suddenly charges forward, either towards you or a teammate. Dodge and immediately turn towards where the Skraev is for an opportunity to interrupt its glide attack.
