What Is Cell Fusion?
Way To Upgrade Cells In Dauntless
Cell Fusion in Dauntless is a way to make your Cells more powerful. This will upgrade their rarity, therefore improving the specific perk that they can implement onto your gear.
Cells Should Be Same Rarity To Upgrade/Sacrifice
In order to successfully fuse Cells, they need to be of the same rarity. Green Cells can only be fused with other green ones, blue Cells with other blue ones, and etc.
Takes Real-Life Time To Fuse
Fusing Cells together take a certain number of hours, depending on their rarity. This is real-life time that needs to pass by before you're able to retrieve the Cell you fused.

Pay Ace Chips To Hasten Cell Fusion
You can pay the Middleman Ace Chips to speed up the Cell Fusion process. You can earn Ace Chips from the Hunt Pass or purchase them from the Dauntless Store for Platinum - the in-game currency.
How To Fuse Cells
1. Talk To The Middleman In Ramsgate
If you want to participate in Cell Fusion, talk to The Middleman in Ramsgate. You can find him to the left of Katerin Sorrel in the lower area of the lobby.
2. Select Cell Fusion Slot & Cells To Fuse
After talking to The Middleman, choose the available Cell Fusion slot and you'll be prompted to choose the Cells that you want to fuse. Take note that only same rarity Cells can be fused together.

3. Wait Real-Life Time For Cells To Fuse
After you've chosen your Cells, hold or press on the fuse button until the fusion process begins. Then wait for the allotted hours that are indicated below the Cell Fusion slot that you just filled up.

Equip Cells You Don't Want To Fuse
When you're choosing Cells, you might accidentally choose ones you don't want to fuse. To prevent this, make sure to equip those Cells on any of your gear. If Cells are equipped, they aren't shown in your available Cells for fusion.
Gather Several Same Cells Before Fusing
If there's a specific Cell that you want to power up, it's best to farm as many of that Cell before fusing. You need the exact same Cell to fuse together in order for you to get a higher rarity version of that Cell.
Unlock Additional Cell Fusion Slots
There are 2 additional Cell Fusion slots that The Middleman can offer to unlock for you. This will help you fuse several Cells at a time but will cost Platinum for you to unlock. 1st Fusion Slot will cost 500 Platinum, and the 2nd slot will cost 1000 Platinum.
