How To Customize Your Character
Start A New Game To Begin Character Customization
When you start a new game in Dauntless, you'll begin with character creation after the opening cutscene. Here you can change a couple of options to personalize what your Slayer will look like.
Step 1: Choose Pre-Set Heads
The first option you can choose are pre-set heads. This makes it quicker and easier for players who do not want to customize their character's appearance.
Step 2: Choose Slayer Body Type
After choosing a pre-set head, you can determine your character's body type. You can choose between a masculine or feminine body in the game.
Step 3: Customize Slayer Appearance
After selecting a body type, you can proceed to heavily personalizing your Slayer's looks. This includes skin tone, eye shape & color, hair style & color, facial structure, and makeup or face paints!

What Can Be Customized After Creation
Reset Character Appearance Near Gregario Flynt
You can reset your character's appearance even after you've completed the first creation. Simply visit Ramsgate and head towards Gregario Flynt. Check the mirror to his right and interact with it to go back to the customization page.

After character creation, you'll gain access to crafting weapons & armor. These can also be customized & transmogrified into special looks that will bring a level of personalization to your Dauntless experience.
