A slow but very durable Terra Behemoth, the Skarn is covered in rock armor that is hard to penetrate. This makes the fight long and arduous as Slayers should focus on hitting his body hidden behind the tough rock armor.
Rockfall Skarn Has More Painful Rock Tornado
The Rockfall Skarn has similar moves to the regular Skarn but has harder armor to crack and a more deadly rock tornado move. Slayers should know how to interrupt this attack to avoid taking heavy damage.

The focus of this fight is to do continuous high damage. Since there are several moves that you can boop the Skarn, equip Overpower to stagger him fast. Ragehunter will also allow you to deal bigger damage when the Skarn is enraged.

Spins & Creates A Rock Tornado
One of the deadliest moves the Skarn has is its rock tornado. It spins around and pulls Slayers in, dealing massive damage and knocking you down for a period of time. You can interrupt this attack to stop it or run away to avoid being drawn in.
Watch For Floating Rocks Before This Move
When the Skarn starts to levitate rocks around itself, this is when it'll start the rock tornado move. This is your cue to ready your heavy attack or move away if you don't have a means of booping it.
Use Heavy Attacks To Interrupt This Move
You can use your heavy attacks to interrupt or boop the Skarn when it does this attack. Be careful not to touch the Skarn when attacking it or you'll be knocked down instead.
Can Be Booped When Standing On Hind Legs
When the Skarn stands up on its hind legs, it can be toppled over by dealing heavy damage to its hind legs and stomach area. Doing enough damage will bring it down and make it open for attacks.
Encases Itself In Armor When Enraged
When the Skarn becomes enraged, it'll close itself into its armor and shoot rocks up through the ground or push its armor out to attack. Keep attacking it to break its armor down or dodge away from attacks to avoid damage.
Rockfall Skarn Has Tougher Armor & More Powerful Moves
Moves In A Circle While Doing Rock Tornado
The Rockfall Skarn will still have the rock tornado move but this time it hits harder and shoots rocks up from the ground. Be ready to interrupt this move or sheathe your weapon & move very far away.
Sends Rock Armor Forward With Front Flip
The Rockfall Skarn does a new move where it sends its armor forward and the flips over it with a body slam. Be sure to stay far away or dodge through the attack to keep yourself safe.
