How To Play With Friends In A Party

Step 1: Check Which Friends Are Online

Once you enter Ramsgate, the left side of your HUD will display how many of your friends are online. Press the button prompt on that bar to open up the Social Menu showing you a "My Friends" page.

Step 2: Invite Your Friends To The Party

From this window, select the friends you want to invite by navigating and selecting them. A smaller window will appear; from this window select the "Invite to Party" option.

Step 3: Add Up To 3 Other Friends

Dauntless will allow you to add up to 3 friends, making your current Hunting Party 4 members.

Dauntless Allows Cross Play Between Platforms

No need to worry about what platform your friend is currently playing on. Since Dauntless supports cross play between all of its platforms, you will be able to play with almost all your friends, regardless of which platform they are!

How To Add Friends In Dauntless

Step 1: Open Up The Social Menu

Open Up The Social Menu

You will first need to open up your Social menu. This is found on the left side of your HUD when you are in Ramsgate. You will be able to open it be pressing the corresponding button on the HUD.

Step 2: Navigate To The Add Friends Tab

Navigate To The Add Friends Tab

Once the Social Menu is open, navigate to the "Add Friends" tab at the top of the menu. This will show you a list of recent players, and invites you've received.

Step 3: Search For Players You Want To Add

Search For Players You Want To Add

You can scroll through the list to find players you want to add. Alternatively, you can use the search bar and type in their usernames to find them more easily.

Step 4: Send An Invite

After you've found the player, select them to open up a smaller window. Choose "Add Epic Friend" to send them a request! Once they accept your request, they will be added to your friends list!

How To Create Guilds In Dauntless

Create A Guild Via The Social Menu

Step 1: Open The Social Menu

Open your Social Menu on the left side of your HUD. This can be done by pressing the corresponding button prompt on the Social Menu's bar.

Step 2: Navigate To The Guild Tab

Navigate To The Guild Tab

Once the menu is open, navigate to the Guild Tab. It is on the right side of the Social Menu. Once you open the Guild Tab, you will be able to create a Guild.

Step 3: Create A Guild

Select the Create Guild option to start creating your Guild. Once you've filled out the Guild Name, and Nameplate, you will successfully have created the guild

Guild Creation Guidelines

Guilds Have A Maximum Of 100 Members

Guilds will only have a maximum of 100 members. You will not be able to add new members of the Guild if your Guild has 100 members.

Guild Names Are Maxed At 15 Characters

Guild Names Are Maxed At 15 Characters

Guild names will have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15 english characters and digits. You will not be able to create your guild if you are over or under the minimum and maximum characters.

Once you have a Guild, there will be a new option when you select your friends in the social menu. You will now be able to invite them to your guild. Once they accept, they will automatically join your guild.

Guilds are groups of players in the game that share a lot in common. Whether it be hunting mindset, goals, or something else, guilds are a great way for you to join a community of players!

Easier To Go Hunting With Guild Members

Guilds will show you which players are online. This allows you to easily find and invite guild members so you can hunt together!

You Can Play Solo In Dauntless

You will definitely be able to go on a hunt alone if you desire! Dauntless allows you to make private hunts so that there are no other players with you on the hunt!

How To Play Solo In Dauntless

Step 1: Head To Any Map / Questboard In Ramsgate

Head To Any Map / Questboard in Ramsgate

You will first need to head to any Map / Questboard found in Ramsgate. These maps are denoted by a pawprint icon on your compass. Alternatively, you can access the map via the pause menu.

Step 2: Choose Which Hunt You Want To Do

Choose Any Hunt You Want To Do

Next, choose which hunt you want to do. You can play solo either in Patrol Hunts or Pursuit Hunts.

Step 3: Select Private Hunt

Select Private Hunt

Once you've selected which Hunt you want to do, select the "Private Hunt" button found at the bottom of the "Start Hunt" button. This will automatically prevent you from matchmaking with other Slayers.
