What Are Cores?
Contains A Random Combination of Cells & Items
Cores are a form of "loot box" or "item pack" that contain a combination of items composed mainly of Cells, as well as other items such as crafting reagents.
Must Be Opened At The Core Breaker
Cores can only be opened at the Core Breaker, located at various points at Ramsgate. Simply go to any Core Breaker, and break a core to obtain the items inside.
What Can You Unlock from Cores
Obtain Perk Cells From Cores
Cores mainly reward items called Cells that provide various passive skills called Perks. These Cells are placed into sockets on weapons, armor, and lanterns.
Earn Crafting Reagents
You can also obtain crafting reagents that you can use to craft and upgrade various armor pieces, weapons, tonics, & more.
How To Earn Cores
Get Cores From Completing Quests
Cores are rewarded from completing certain quests. Be sure to check your Quest Log to see which quests can reward you with cores.
Acquire Rewards From The Hunt Pass
You may also receive cores by leveling up your Hunt Pass. Both the Basic and Elite Tracks reward cores from which you can obtain Cells and other items from.
