The Semtex is a thrown lethal grenade that sticks to most if not all surfaces. It then explodes after a short period of time after it is thrown. Stick a Semtex on an enemy to deal the most amount of damage!

Sticks to Surfaces
Remember that this grenade will stick onto surfaces it comes in contact with. You won't be able to bounce this grenade off walls and into a corner as it will attach itself to the wall.
Can Be Attached To Enemies
The Semtex also has the ability to stick to enemies. Throwing a Semtex onto an enemy is a surefire way to deal massive amounts of damage to the enemy! It may also have the potential to kill them once it explodes!
Detonates After A Certain Time
When thrown and stuck on an object, the Semtex will detonate after a certain amount of time has passed. This gives enemies enough time to run away from the grenade. Keep this in mind when cooking the grenade!

Use in Tight Spaces
The Semtex is best used in tight spaces such as small rooms or narrow corridors. This makes the explosion much more effective since it covers more area and prevents enemies from avoiding the blast.
Throw Onto Ceilings For Air Burst Effect
Throwing Semtex at the ceiling will cause it to stick and blow up downward, ignoring potential cover. This will deal damage in the widest area in a enclosed space.
Aim to Throw at Grouped Enemies
For maximum damage, aim your throws at enemies that are grouped together. Since the amount of time it takes to detonate the grenade is short, you may be able to deal huge amounts of damage to multiple enemies!
Semtex Vs Frag - What to Choose
Choose Depending On Playstyle
Choosing either Semtex or Frag will solely depend on how you play the game. Generally, choosing the Semtex would go better with a fast-paced play style since you do not have to cook it. However, if you want more precise throws and hits, choose the frag to control the blast's location.

The major difference between Semtex & Frag Grenade is the cooking effect. That affects the range and if the grenade can bounce across obstacles. Choose Semtex for small maps while frags works well for longer or obstacle-filled maps.
Sticks To Riot Shield
Semtex will stick to Riot Shield and kill the holder unless its user has the E.O.D. Perk. Frag grenade may be hard to target Riot Shield so go with Semtex if you're having trouble with them.
