Efficient Way of Farming Specific Legendaries
Some legendaries are only obtained from specific bosses & enemies. This makes it more efficient to farm as they're a guarantee in their loot pool.
New Designated Loot Pools Added
Dedicated loot pools were added for bosses and unique enemies, making it easier to farm for Legendaries in the Nov. 21 Patch. This includes Mayhem 4 weapon drops for specific bosses.

Although these weapons are exclusive to these bosses, this does not guarantee that they will drop every time you defeat them. Legendaries have a low drop chance so it may take a while for them to appear.
Mission Boss Legendary Drops
Boss & Legendary Weapon Drops List
Requires for Mission to Be Complete First
Bosses can only be farmed once you've cleared them as part of either the Main Story or a Side Quest. Once you do, you are free to battle them as much as you want and they'll keep spawning in their areas after every reload.
Restart Or Leave The Planet To Respawn Bosses
If the weapon that you wanted did not drop, you can simply leave the planet and board Sanctuary or restart the game to respawn the boss. You can do this indefinitely until you get the loot that you want.
