| 1 | Meet and talk to Hammerlock in Knotty Peak |
| 2 | Take the record from Wainwright and play it on the nearby phonograph |
| 3 | Head to the Voracious Canopy to begin searching for the jewel |
| 4 | Find BALEX |
| 5 | Kill the Tyrant then pick up the Pink Plushie |
| 6 | With BALEX as the Pink Plushie, continue looking for the Family Jewel |
| 7 | Climb up the panel and destroy the electronic lines |
| 8 | Enter the ship and make your way to the Key Fragment |
| 9 | Go to the Medical Bay and grab the wires |
| 10 | Melee the bot and install BALEX on its head |
| 11 | Follow BALEX to the Security Bay |
| 12 | Defeat enemies to gain access to the Security Bay |
| 13 | Once inside, clear the area of enemies |
| 14 | Defend BALEX from Jabbers |
| 15 | Go to the high security door and open it |
| 16 | Defeat the Jabber inside the room |
| 17 | Pick up BALEX and head to the Bridge |
| 18 | Head for the container with the mech and install BALEX |
| 19 | Kill Ratch with BALEX |
| 20 | Reach the Bridge and defeat GenIVIV |
| 21 | After defeating GenIVIV collect the Key Fragment and BALEX |
| 22 | Return to Sanctuary and get to the Bridge |
| 23 | Install BALEX and pick up the faulty hard drive |
| 24 | Give the hard drive to Marcus, and the Key Fragment to Tannis |
1~20. Exploring the Family Jewel
Bring Elemental Weapons
You will be encountering a host of different enemies in this mission. Most of these are wildlife so bring incendiary weapons. However, some are armored which calls for corrosive. The final boss also has a shield which has a weakness to shock.
5. Killing The Tyrant
Freeze Tyrant To Make It An Easy Target
The Tyrant will constantly chase you and breathe fire to damage you from afar. However, you can freeze him in place using a cryo weapon! This will stop it from moving, allowing you to better focus fire on it.
9. Grabbing the Wires
Grabbing the Wires Causes You To Fight For Your Life
Grabbing the wires will deal enough damage to put you into Fight For Your Life mode. However, do not give up immediately! A Medical Bot will show up to assist you as soon as you fall!
16. Defeat the Jabber In High Security Room
Jabber Will Be Armored
The Jabber inside the High Security Room will be armored. It would be best to use a corrosive weapon to quickly take out its armor.
GenIVIV - Boss Battle Tips
Bring Shock & Corrosive Weapons
GenIVIV's health bars are composed of a shield bar and an armor bar. In order to make quick work of this enemy, it is recommended to bring a shock weapon to decimate her its shields, and a corrosive weapon to melt its armor.

To pay you back for helping him out at the start of the mission, BALEX will assist you in fighting GenIVIV. However, after breaking the shield, BALEX will malfunction and it is up to you to finish GenIVIV off!
Bouncing Balls Can Be Destroyed
GenIVIV will also throw out Bouncing Balls. These balls can deal damage to you and can overwhelm you if not dealt with. Shoot at these balls to destroy them immediately.
Will Summon GenIONs to Harass You
GenIVIV will summon small GenIONs to harass you during the fight. You can pay no mind to these enemies as they don't do much damage. However, you can use them to gain a second wind if you ever fall in battle.
Shoot Down Floating Drones
GenIVIV will also summon drones to aid her. These drones fire at you during certain intervals. They can deal a lot of damage if they aren't dealt with as soon as possible so shoot them down as soon as they appear.
