How To Play Online Multiplayer
Connect To Social From Main Menu
To first access multiplayer mode, go to the main menu and click the "Social" option. This will lead you to the multiplayer options available in Borderlands 3.
Invite Friends To Play Online
In the "Roster" tab, you'll see which of your friends on your chosen platform are online. You can send them invites to online multiplayer with them.
Matchmake With Random Players Online
If you don't have friends online, you can matchmake with other players. You'll be matched with random Vault Hunters who are in a similar level & mission as you. You'll also be connected to a server or region that's nearest you.
Choice Between Campaign, Circle Of Slaughter, Or Proving Grounds
In Matchmaking mode, you can choose between doing the main story campaign, going on an endless killing spree in Circle of Slaughter, or completing a dungeon with a boss at the end.
