How to Trigger Story Missions
Complete Objectives To Finish Story Missions
Story Missions are progression based, requiring you to complete a sequence of objectives to unlock them. Once you complete a mission, a new one will be unlocked and the previous one's rewards will be added to your inventory.
Rewards You With Useful Loot
Story Missions will reward you with useful loot once you complete them. These includes weapons, items, eridium and even extra cash to spend!
No Alternate Ending
Borderlands 3 is very linear when it comes to its Main Story. It doesn't have alternate endings so feel free to choose how you do things since there are no consequences that can redirect the flow of the game.
