Courtyard ~ Graveyard Walkthrough Map

Courtyard ~ Graveyard Walkthrough Chart

No.	Procedure
1	Talk to Lilith to contact Maya
2	Use the Hyperspace terminal to warp to Athenas then go to the drop pod to head down the planet
3	Follow your objective marker and secure the courtyard by clearing off all enemies
4	Once area is secure, ring the bell to meet Maya
5	Talk to Maya & follow her, clearing your path of enemies
6	Once you get to the large door, find and ring the bell to open the door
7	After the conversation with Ava, follow Maya again into another courtyard that you have to clear
8	Follow Maya until you get to a circular door, ring the bell to its left to open it
9	Check your objective marker & follow it to look for Ava
10	Defeat the enemies you encounter along the way
11	When you reach the big steel gate, you'll get a cutscene with Ava

3, 5, 7, 10. Clear Area Of Enemies

Pyrotech Heavies Deal AoE Damage

In this mission, you may encounter a Pyrotech Heavy opponent which deal heavy fire damage that has an area-of-effect. Keep an eye on the floor to avoid getting hit by fire damage.

Focus Fire On NOGs

When you encounter a NOG, make sure to take them down first. They buff up their allies and protect them with impenetrable shields so it's best to focus fire on them & take them down fast.

Watch Out For Elemental Damage

Enemies will be equipped with elemental damage and can do damage-over-time with fire, corrosion, or radiation. Make sure to fire at them from under cover or rain bullets on them to quickly deplete their HP.

4, 6, 8. Bell Can Only Be Hit When Area Is Clear

The only way you can ring the bell to proceed in areas is when the entire courtyard is clear. Make sure to check your mini-map for leftover enemies that you may have missed.

No.	Procedure
1	Talk to Ava and follow her into the graveyard then clear it of enemies
2	Head down the crypt and loot the marked boxes of Eridium
3	Follow Ava outside and deal with the enemy reinforcements that arrive
4	Go down the mausoleum and search for Eridium with Ava
5	Defeat the Ratches that come out then go back to Ava outside
6	Head to the next mausoleum and defeat the Ratch Nest
7	Defeat remaining enemies & grab the Eridium before following Ava again
8	After the convo with Ava & Maya, go to the courtyard to meet Maya in the courtyard
9	Once you get to the courtyard, fight & defeat Captain Traunt
10	After the fight, give the Eridium to Maya
11	Follow Maya and grab the Vault Key fragment
12	Head back to Sanctuary and give Tannis the Vault Key fragment
13	Go to the bridge & talk to Lilith to complete the mission

6. Use Damage-Over-Time On Ratch Nest

The Ratch Nest can have a pretty long HP bar so if you have any weapons that deal damage-over-time, it's best to use them against this enemy. This ticks down the enemy's health while you deal more damage with your normal bullets.

9. Captain Traunt Deals Fire & Ice Damage

At this part of the mission, you'll have to face off with Captain Traunt. He's in a Heavy armor and will deal both fire & ice attacks. Keep mobile to take him down.

Keep Mobile & Don't Stop Moving

Traunt will do a lot of damage to you if you stand still. Keep mobile so you can see his attacks and avoid taking damage from his roving attacks.

Keep To 2nd Floors Of Courtyard

Traunt doesn't go up to the 2nd floors of the courtyard, making them a relatively safe space and a good vantage point to shoot from. In this fight, keep to the upper levels to gain an advantage over Traunt.

Run Counterclockwise To Dodge Ice Ball

Traunt summons an ice ball that goes up to the 2nd floors of the courtyard, however it only moves in one direction. Move counterclockwise to see it coming and be able to dodge out of harm's way.

Keep Away From Ice Walls

When Traunt summons ice walls from the ground, it's best to keep a safe distance from them. He can fling the whole ice wall towards you and hit you with heavy damage.
