Loot the Universe Event Relocates To Eden-6

The ongoing Loot the Universe event will relocate on a different planet; the Eden-6 until 9:00 AM PST on May 14th.
Mayhem Mode Fixes
Few elements of the Mayhem Mode have been also fixed in this patch. These fixes include Galaxy Brain Mayhem modifier sometime causing Graveward’s loot to inaccessible location, and a bug that caused drop rates for all Mayhem levels were lowered than the value intended.

Buffs For Moze, The Gunner
Moze has received overall buffs in skills, allowing them to regenerate health or shield. Some of her skills have also received a buff in damage.
Added SDUs For Bank, Backpack, & Ammo
Additional SDUs can now be purchased for the bank, backpack, heavy ammo and sniper rifle ammo. This was done to accommodate the new gear & items in the content update.
Overall Balance & Gameplay Fixes
Overall balance and gameplay fixes have been implemented focusing on stability, network & multiplayer issues, audio, and UI.

Mr. Torgues Slaughter Onslaught
Mr. Torgue's event increases the number of dedicated loot drops for bosses in the Circle of Slaughter! If you're looking to get rare and legendary loot, head to the Circle of Slaughter and get to farming!

Moze
The minigun damage and cryo penalty applied by Moze's "General Winter" skill has been removed. Additionally her "Exploding. Bullets." skill has its damage adjusted to match what was intended of the skill.

Level Cap Increase to Level 53
The Level Cap has been increased from Level 50 to Level 53. This means an additional 3 skill points for you to use and build for your Vault Hunter.

Experience Takedown on Maliwan Blacksite as it was during its first release through the True Takedown Mode. Here, the difficulty will not scale to the number of players, but will instead be set to 4-player difficulty.

A much asked for change by the playerbase. the choice to skip cutscenes has now been added to Borderlands 3. Skipping is as simple as pressing any button during the scene to get the prompt to skip it.

The recent January 30 hotfix has implemented a few changes to increase loot drop rates in a variety of ways. Permanent change to the Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite were also implemented as part of the update. Check out all the changes in the hotfix listed below:
Rare Chest Riches Event

Once the hotfix goes live today, a new event will be activated! Introducing: Rare Chest Riches, where all rare chests will drop rare loot at in increased rate! This will give you a higher chance of obtaining Legendary weapons when looking for loot!
Earn High Tier Rewards from Twitch Streamers
The increased drop rate will also apply when you score loot from watching Twitch Streamers play the game! Note that you and the streamer must have the ECHOcast Twitch Extension enabled in order for you to earn loot!

Aside from having increased drop rates in chests, the developers have also decided to apply a permanent change for certain enemies to have a higher chance of dropping Anointed and Legendary gear! This change will take effect once the Farming Frenzy event ends.
Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite Changes
The developers have decided to make the scaled Takedown event permanent! However, there will also be a True Takedown Mode coming in February that restores the Takedown to its original 4-player experience during its launch!

A minor bug fix has been implemented for the One Man's Treasure Mission in Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. There will be no more issues of players rising into the sky while using the cannon when playing this mission.

Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite Scaling

For a limited time, the Takedown on Maliwan Blacksite will scale to the number of players in a team! Matchmaking will not prioritize getting a full team in during the event.
Farming Frenzy Mini-Event is Live
Farming gets easier with the Farming Frenzy mini-event. Anointed and Legendary drop rates have been increased. Every boss will have increased drop rates and rare spawns are more likely to appear.

Increased Reload Speed for Ion Cannon
The Ion Cannon will now have a 5-second reload time. Additionally, it will consume 6 ammo per shot. The balance was made due to the weapon over performing according to the developers.

Moze, Zane, and FL4K will have adjustments to the bonuses given by specific Anointments. This has nothing to do with their skills.

- While Barrier is active, Accuracy is increased by 60%, and Critical Hit damage is increased by 70% (from 30%)

- After using Rakk Attack!, gain 50% (from 25%) critical hit damage for a short time

New Takedown Event
Starting from Dec 31, 2019 ~ Jan 16, 2020, players will be able to participate in a special Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite event! For a limited time, players will be able to experience the takedown with the difficulty scaled to the number of players in their party!

"Quick Breather", "Schadenfreude", and "Praemunitus" received fixed since they were not functioning properly. Praemunitus in particular was not giving the proper clip size to the Digiclone.

Butcher Shotgun Fix
In the recent Nov. 21, 2019, the Butcher's recoil became bugged, leaving it uncontrollable when used. This hotfix will address the issue and return the Butcher to its intended state.

No More Updates for the Week
It has been announced that the Nov. 26 patch will be the last for the week due to Thanksgiving celebrations. Gearbox said they were aware of current issues, including the faulty guardian ranks and other bugs, and will address it in future updates.

As expressed in previous hotfixes, Vault Hunter Pets, Iron Bear, SNTL, and Digi-Clone finally received buffs to their damage and overall survivability. The change will help support their viability in endgame!
Moze and Iron Bear Buffs
Iron Bear received increase in its base scaling. It also received bonuses to its overall health and damage through some of Moze's passive skills and augments.
Changes Done to Moze
- Iron Bear Damage increased per level, to a total of just under 150% at max level
- Desperate Measures now gives Iron Bear the bonus too
- Experimental Munitions - Iron Bear also deals bonus fire damage on critical hits
- Scorching RPM's also grants increased Hard Point damage by 5% per level
- Vampyr - When Iron Bear deals area damage, Iron Bear receives half the healing bonus
- Iron Bear now launches barrels when the player melees them
- Increased Iron Bear Bubble Shield from 20% to 50% of Moze's health
Zane & Digi-Clone / SNTL Buffs
Zane's Kill-Skills received a significant buff to further support his action skills. They can now stack up to 2 times!
Changes Done to Zane
- SNTL damage scale increased by 2% per level
- Donnybrook, Pocket Full of Grenades, Cool Hand, Violent Violence, and Violent Speed bonuses now stack twice
- Fixed Violent Momentum to scale more at higher movement speeds
- Best Served Cold radius and damage increased by 2% per level
- Confident Confidence increased max weapon damage bonus from 20% to 35%
- Changed Trick of the Light element to Cryo and increased bonus from 18% to 36%
- Borrowed Time duration increased from 15% to 30% per active skill
- Double Barrel's bonus increased from 20% to 25%
- Quick Breather now restores 50% of the clone's health after a swap
- Pocket Full of Grenades bonus slightly decreased from 6.5% to 5% as it now stacks
- Violent Violence bonus slightly decreased from 4% to 3% as it now stacks
FL4K & Pets Buffs
Damage was increased for FL4K's pets to make them more viable in endgame and when in Mayhem Mode.
Changes Done to Pets
- Ambush Predator now has a HUD Icon when the buff is active
- Increased the pet damage to scale 10/5% per level instead of 9%
- Added pet damage to Grim Harvest at 7% per level
- Added pet damage to The Most Dangerous Game at 9% per level
- Added pet damage to Interplanetary Stalker at 1% per stack, per level
- Added pet damage to Furious Attack at 0.6% per stack
- Added pet damage to The Fast and the Furryous at 10% per level
- Lick the Wounds gained a pet damage buff after reviving the player
- Increased pet damage for Psycho Head on a Stick from 10% to 20%
- Increased damage in Pack Tactics from 5% to 7% per level
- Adjusted Megavore to not reward critical hit bonuses when receiving damage from self-damage
Major Updates
Mayhem 4 Added
Mayhem 4 amps up the challenge when in Mayhem Mode. It removes all negative modifiers and has its own exclusive Legendary weapons and gear that will only drop in the mode.

Enemy health is further increased in Mayhem 4 and only one mayhem modifier will be added to the player and the enemy. The difficulty is balanced by an increase in loot drop chance!
Increase in Bank Storage
The Bank Storage has been increased from a maximum of 50 to 300. Players will also start with 20 slots now instead of 10.

Making it easier to farm for Legendaries, dedicated loot pools will also be added with the update. This means bosses will now have a pool of items that are sure or have a higher chance of dropping from them.
