Control Deck With Damage Sourced From Marwynn, Despair Manifest
Crest Havencraft is a deck that is able to control the field and attack the enemy leader using the Crest from Marwynn, Despair Manifest. It's even more powerful if you can skillfully use removal cards to get damage through.
Crest Havencraft Deck - How to Play
Prepare Until You Can Evolve

In the early game, use Serene Sanctuary to draw cards and play Grimnir, Heavenly Gale or Dose of Holiness to set up your board. These plays help you support your key turn with Marwynn later on.
Fight For Board Control While Stacking Crests

In the early game, focus on fighting for board control while stacking Crests using low-cost Followers like Devotee of Repose, Knight of the Holy Order, and Grimnir, Heavenly Gale. Grimnir’s crest is especially valuable since it is permanent, so playing him early rewards you with smoother late game setups.
Activate Marwynn's Crest

Once you're able to Evolve a Follower, focus on Evolving Marwynn, Despair Manifest to activate his Crest, which is the primary key to playing this deck successfully.
Lock Down the Board and Close Out Games
In the late game, your main goal should be to keep the pressure while continuously stacking Crests, clearing enemy followers, and maintaining board control. This is because you’re aiming to outlast your opponent as they run out of resources, or finish them off with direct damage from Marwynn, Despair Manifest if you get a chance. Moreover, if you’re running Ruler of Cocytus, then you’ve got another option to secure the win.
Finish the game with Disenchantment and Sweetness of Voracity

In the late game, once your opponent’s defenses are down, it’s time to go for the kill. Use Shining Disenchantment and Sweetness of Voracity together to wipe their board and attack the leader hard in one explosive turn. By chaining your damage in quick succession, you leave them little room to recover or regain momentum.
Mulligan Guide for the Crest Havencraft
Keep Marwynn, Serene Sanctuary, and Grimnir
With this deck built around Marwynn, Despair Manifest, your best bet is to prioritize redrawing for Marwynn and Serene Sanctuary to boost your odds of securing them early.
Grimnir Is the Only Exception
Grimnir, Heavenly Gale is the one card you should always keep in your starting hand. Playing him before Marwynn, Despair Manifest makes his effect much stronger. This sets up the crest activation order, so Grimnir's crest activates first, followed by Marwynn's when you Super-Evolve him. This ensures that Marwynn's effect lands cleanly and doesn't get wasted.
Keep One AOE Against Decks That Are Strong in the Early Game
Against decks such as Swordcraft that attacks by lining up followers from the early game, keep Blinding Faith or Salefa, Guardian of Water to retake control of the field.
