The baby Pokemon of Chansey, Happiny, now finally appears in Pokemon GO. You can get a Happiny by hatching them from 7 km eggs you receive from friends!

Aside from the heart patch Spinda, Trainers will have two other Valentine's event limited tasks they can complete to receive Rare Candy and encounter a Chansey.

Hatch Shiny Smoochum & Cleffa

In the Valentine 2019 event, you may be able to hatch a Shiny Cleffa or a Shiny Smoochum from 7 km eggs. These are new Shiny Pokemon that are being introduced into the game just for this event.

Chansey & Porygon Raid Boss Battle

Two raid bosses, Chansey and Porygon, will appear more often as raid boss battles. They will appear alongside the other raid bosses that are currently appearing across all gyms.

Double Catch Candy & Other Effects

During the Valentine's event, you'll be able to receive more candy every time you catch a Pokemon. If you use a Pinap Berry, you can earn up to 12 Pokemon candy in a single catch!

This event is a great opportunity to farm Meltan candies to evolve your Meltan into Melmetal! You can earn double candies when catching Meltan in the wild so be sure to use your Mystery Box!

Lure Modules Will Last For 6 Hours

Trainers,

Gather up Poké Balls and turn on Adventure Sync—the Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day Celebration features Pokémon that are pink! Beginning February 13 at 1 p.m. PST, Pokémon such as Clefairy, Hoppip, and Luvdisc will appear more frequently in the wild. Check out more details below:

  • Feb. 13, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8) to Feb. 21, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8)

Features

  • Pink Pokémon such as Clefairy, Hoppip, and Luvdisc will appear more frequently in the wild!
  • Certain pink Pokémon will hatch more frequently from 7 km Eggs!
  • Pink Pokémon such as Chansey and Porygon will appear more frequently in Raid Battles!

Bonuses

  • Lure Modules will last six hours for the duration of the event.
  • 2× Catch Candy
