Fossil Pokemon Hatching From 7km Eggs
Change Made On February 19th
On February 19th, 7km Eggs were changed so that only the following Pokemon can hatch from them:

Fossil Pokemon Come From 7km Eggs Only!
At the same that Fossil Pokemon became hatchable from 7km eggs, they simultaneously became unobtainable via 2km and 5km eggs. If you want to get a Fossil Pokemon, you'll have to hatch 7km eggs!
Other Egg Distances Could Have Changes As Well
It is possible that eggs of other distances have also undergone some sort of changes alongside this update. We are currently investigating this possibility & will report back when we have more information!

It is currently unclear as to how long Fossil Pokemon will be hatchable from 7km eggs. The official website has stated that they will provide updates on this at a later point in the future.
Riolu Hatches From 10km Eggs
Unrelated To Fossil Pokemon
Although it is not directly related to the Fossil Pokemon update, the official site also mentioned that Riolu will now hatch from 10km eggs as well. If you want to get Riolu Candy, or a Riolu with high IVs, make sure to visit tons of Pokestops so you can get a 10km egg!
