Missable Content
Almost No Missable Content
7DS: Origin is an open-world game where you can travel freely to and from various locations, regardless of the story. This means that there is essentially no missable content.
However, be aware that there are a few instances, such as dungeons and underground areas, that may become permanently inaccessible, so be sure to explore these areas thoroughly.
Treasure Chest in the Tutorial
There is a hidden treasure chest in the underground area you enter during the tutorial before meeting Hawk. However, it only contains 3000 Gold, so it's okay to miss it.

Choose a Proper IGN

You can change your IGN from the menu, but doing so requires a specific item. So we recommend choosing a name you're happy with from the start, even if you intend on rerolling.
How to Change Your NameThings to Avoid in the Early Game
| What to Avoid | Disadvantage |
|---|---|
| Investing in too many characters early | You will run out of resources |
| Selling/dismantling equipment | Can be used as enhancement materials |
Investing in Too Many Characters

Since enhancement materials are scarce in the early game, leveling up multiple characters will leave your entire party feeling weak. For this reason, we recommended focusing on a single, strong main Attacker and their supporting characters before investing in other characters.
Best Character Tier ListSelling Equipment

Selling unwanted equipment is not recommended because the gold value is very low. Instead, you should dismantle unwanted equipment to convert them into additional crafting materials.
Noteable Early Missions
The Flying Pet in Act 1, Chapter 37

The flying pet you can temporarily borrow in Act 1, Chapter 37 can travel over cliffs, making it a great time to explore. In particular, you should unlock the Warp Point near your destination, the Giant Bird's Nest, before you advance the story.
Area Quest After Act 1, Chapter 46

After Act 1, Chapter 46, you can accept an Area Quest from Ashu, who is standing near a main story objective. Eventually, Ashu will give you materials and ask you to craft Faint Potions of Charm for capturing a Dusk Bison. If you fail to capture the Dusk Bison with your initial potions, you'll have to gather your own crafting materials for your next attempt.
Quest Location

Ash's Area Quest is located right next to the quest for Act 1, Chapter 46 and can be accepted immediately. After accepting the Area Quest, select 'Start Tracking' from the 'Quests' menu to proceed.
