Table of Contents

Free-to-Play Heroes

Tristan in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginTristan Tioreh in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginTioreh Slater in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginSlater Guila in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginGuila

The four heroes above are guaranteed through the main Story, the initial tutorial Gacha, and straightforward in-game Events. Every single one of them is completely capable of carrying you through the hardest content in the game, so do not hesitate to invest your resources into enhancing them.

Guila Is Obtained via Login Bonus

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin Grand Launch Celebration Check-in Event

Guila can be obtained for free simply by logging in during the Grand Launch Celebration Check-In Event. She is a phenomenal Attacker who utilizes her unique Demon Form during her Ultimate Move to deal massive damage. Even better, by switching her equipped Weapons she can seamlessly fill other roles like a sturdy Tank or a Burst Efficiency buffer.

Claim Guila from Your Mailbox

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin Claiming Guila From Mailbox

After claiming Guila from the Event page itself, she will be instantly sent to your in-game Mailbox. Make absolutely sure to check your Mail, otherwise, she'll just sit there waiting to be collected.

Slater Is Guaranteed from the Early Gacha

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin Slater Hero Info

Slater is a guaranteed drop from the mandatory Tutorial Gacha early on. He functions as a primary Attacker in Fire Element parties. He can also serve as a non-elemental support by consistently applying Bleed and Deep Wound debuffs to enemies.

Can You Finish the Game Using Only F2P Teams?

The four heroes handed to you early on share Fire Element synergy. You can absolutely clear the entire main Story campaign using nothing but these free heroes. Because you can easily adjust their combat roles by switching weapons to avoid class overlap, your early growth investments will never go to waste.

Playing Your Favorites Is Fine Too

If you're a massive fan of The Seven Deadly Sins series, by all means, feel free to build a team around your favorite characters! However, just keep in mind that brute-forcing the game with mismatched synergies might significantly increase the overall difficulty. Building a balanced party that complements each other is always the best way to go.

Recommended F2P Build and Roles

Lance
Tristan in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginTristan
Dual Swords
Slater in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginSlater
Axe
Tioreh in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginTioreh
Wand

This specific setup is a highly aggressive fire-element party built entirely around Guila as the main attacker. You'll want to use Tristan and Tioreh in tandem to quickly trigger a Fire Element Burst, then immediately tag in Guila to unleash hell. If you manage to weave in Slater's debuffs before Guila goes on the offensive, you will absolutely maximize her total DPS output.

Deal Massive Damage with Guila During a Burst

When equipped with a Lance, Guila deals significantly increased damage to enemies actively suffering from a Fire Element Burst. Better yet, her raw Skill damage also naturally spikes while in her Demon Form. The ultimate goal is to align both of these conditions for catastrophic damage.

Build Burst Gauge Quickly with Tristan

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin Tristan Hero Info

When using Dual Swords, Tristan gains access to skills that not only recover the Burst Gauge but also directly boost All Elemental Burst Efficiency. This unique kit allows him to rapidly build a Fire Burst on his targets. Moreover, tagging between him and Tioreh is the best way to play him since they share the same element.

Tristan Guide

Tag to Tioreh When You Are in Danger

Wand Tioreh excels at generating healing zones using her skills. Press 'E' to place the zone down and continue fighting inside of it for continuous healing. Furthermore, she possesses a passive trait that heals the team when tagged in below 30% HP. Always keep Tioreh in your back pocket to bail you out when you're in a pinch!

Slater Shines with Crucial Debuffs

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin Tristan Hero Info Axe Weapon

Axe Slater is a dedicated Support who specializes in applying the Bleed and Deep Wound status effects. That resulting "increased damage taken" debuff massively boosts your main Attacker's DPS, completely regardless of their Element.

Battle Playstyle

F2P Build Basic Combat Rotation

Hero Playstyle
Tristan in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginTristan
Tioreh in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginTioreh
1. Apply necessary debuffs to your enemies using Tristan's Special Attack.
2. Use Skills and Ultimate Moves to build up the Burst Gauge. Remember to mix in Normal Attacks while both heroes work cooperatively toward activating the Burst.
3. Whenever your HP dips low and you are in danger, quickly tag to Tioreh to trigger her healing. Next, place a healing zone and continue fighting within it.
Slater in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginSlater 1. Look for openings, such as a stun triggered from a Counter tag to apply Bleed with his Special Attack.
2. Unleash Slater's Ultimate to apply the crippling Deep Wound debuff.
Guila in The Seven Deadly Sins: OriginGuila 1. Tag her in the exact moment a Burst triggers. Weave her Normal Attacks, Special Attacks, and Skills together to gain Impulse stacks.
2. Once your stacks are built up, activate Demon Form using her Ultimate Move, then completely unload on the enemy with her Special Attacks and Skills.
Tip!

Tioreh's skill zone will remain active on the field even if you tag out immediately after casting it. Also, Tristan's Ultimate Move provides a massive All Elemental Burst Efficiency boost, so try to use it as much as possible!

Build Your Burst Aggressively With Tristan and Tioreh

To truly unleash Guila's full DPS potential, you need to activate a Burst state. Tristan and Tioreh's Skills boast incredible synergy for juicing the Burst Gauge, so make sure you are making good, frequent use of tagging between them.

Tip!

If you keep the simple mantra of "use a Skill, then Tag" in mind during combat, you can deal sustained damage incredibly efficiently while waiting for each hero's Skill Cooldowns to reset.

Always Stack Impulse Before Triggering Demon Form

How to Stack Impulse
- Landing an attack while the Demon Form Effect is NOT active grants +1 stack.
- Using Special Attacks and Skills will each grant +2 stacks.
(Every individual Impulse stack provides a +3% Crit Chance buff, stacking up to a maximum of 10 times)

Guila's Impulse stacks directly buff her Crit Chance during Demon Form. Because this mechanic can passively increase her Crit Chance by up to a whopping 30%, it is imperative that you fully stack it before ever activating Demon Form.

Don't Miss the Perfect Tag Timing

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin Countering an Enemy

If you manage to Tag an allied character at the exact moment an enemy flashes blue during their attack animation, you will trigger a counter and inflict a hard stun on them.

Battle Techniques and Combat Tips

Exploit Those Openings to Apply Slater's Debuffs

Fully charging Slater's Special Attack applies Bleed to the enemy. Since the Bleed status is a strict prerequisite for applying his devastating Deep Wound debuff from his Ultimate Move, the absolute best strategy is to land his Special Attack and transition into his Ultimate Move while the enemy is completely immobilized or stunned.
