Prioritize Unlocking Weapon Types

Different Playstyles Unlocked via Mastery

For example, Tioreh, a pre-registration reward character, can use healing skills by equipping a Wand. Since the playstyle differs greatly depending on the weapon type, prioritize leveling up the Shared Mastery of the characters you want to use.

How to Get Mastery EXP

Mastery EXP Sources

You can obtain Mastery EXP from Dungeons and monster drops, but progressing through the missions in the Path of the Hero rewards a large amount.

Enhance Equipment at the Same Time

Equipment Enhance

You can also increase a character’s stats by enhancing their equipped Weapons and Armor. Weapons provide passive effects, and certain equipment grants set bonuses. It is recommended to enhance gear when progression slows or after accumulating enough equipment to optimize upgrades.

Increase Potential

You can obtain up to 4 Potential Points through Mastery enhancement. However, further increases require pulling duplicate characters from the gacha.

Mastery

Mastery is used to enhance a character’s base stats, functioning similarly to leveling up. While Mastery EXP is primarily used to increase levels, additional materials are required for further enhancement.

Obtaining Potential Points

You can obtain "Potential Points," which are required to Activate Potential, by unlocking weapon types through Mastery enhancement and by completing Weapon Mastery Growth. Maxing out Mastery across all weapon types grants up to 4 Potential Points.

Mastery Enhancement Stages

  1. Level up Shared Mastery to Lv. 30
  2. Unlock weapon types with Elite Token
  3. Enhance for each weapon type

Level up Shared Mastery to Lv. 30
Different Playstyles Unlocked via Mastery

First, use Mastery EXP to level up the Shared Mastery. Completing the Shared Mastery enhancement will unlock new weapon types and the ability to enhance each one.

Unlock Weapon Types with Elite Token
Unlock Weapon Types with Elite Token

Use 3 Elite Tokens to unlock a weapon type. Since skills differ between weapon types, this is an essential enhancement if you want to use a weapon that isn't unlocked by default.

You get 1 Potential Point

When you unlock a weapon type, you'll also receive the points needed for Activate Potential. For characters you want to use, your first objective should be to enhance them to this point.

Enhance for Each Weapon Type
Specific Weapon Mastery Levelling

After unlocking a weapon type, the Mastery enhancement screen changes, and you'll enhance each weapon type using Mastery EXP. Each stage is further divided into 3 sub-stages, and your stats will increase when your EXP reaches a certain value.

Gain Potential Points for Each Weapon Type

When you complete all weapon type enhancements from I to IV, you will obtain 1 Potential Point per weapon type. You will need a lot of Materials for enhancements, so it's better to enhance one weapon type at a time to steadily activate their Potential.

Further Enhancement Requires Consuming Materials
Further Enhancement Possible by Consuming Materials

When the EXP reaches its maximum in each stage from I to IV, you can then use items like the "Elite Token" for enhancement. Completing this enhancement unlocks the next stage and allows you to use items like Mastery Fragments.

Enhancement with Elite Tokens
Enhancement with Marks

Consuming Elite Tokens to enhance stats simultaneously unlocks the next enhancement stage and enhancements that use items like Mastery Fragments.

Mastery Fragments
Enhancement with Mastery Fragments and Various Materials

Increase stats by consuming Mastery Fragments and corresponding Materials. Each stage allows you to increase 4 types of stats, which can be enhanced in any order you like. Since you can proceed with other enhancements even if one is not complete, there is no need to go out of your way to collect these materials.

Activate Potential

Activate Potential

By activating a character's Potential, you can enhance base abilities and skills at each stage, and in some cases, gain additional effects. Activating Potential requires "Potential Points," which you get when you pull a duplicate character from the gacha or from Mastery enhancement.
