How to Progress and Exploration Tips
Use the Tracking Feature for Gathering
For gathering missions or if you are looking for a specific material; select the item from your bag or quest menu and click the arrow icon to track the exact location of the item you need. Once you harvest the node but still need more materials, simply tap the icon again to pinpoint the next closest gathering spot. Get into the habit of using this feature heavily!
Checking Your Mission Status
To review your current Path of Exploration objectives, open your main menu, select Missions, and then tap the middle tab located on the left side of the screen.
Track Materials From the Workbench
When a mission tasks you with crafting something, you don't have to guess where the components are. You can track the required base materials straight from the Workbench screen. This feature also shows you alternative ways to acquire them. For example, if a local merchant sells the component, buying it directly is often much faster than gathering.
Use Hendrickson's Exploration Skill
If you swap your active character to Hendrickson, you can use his unique Adventure Skill to reveal nearby gathering points directly on your minimap. This is incredibly useful when you're in an area dense with resource nodes, allowing you to sweep the area efficiently.

You actually don't have to wait for a Path of Exploration stage to unlock before making progress on it. If you stumble upon gathering spots or items required for future stages, get them immediately. You'll thank yourself later when the stage automatically completes the second it unlocks.
