Where to Find Guila

Available via the Dungeon Menu

Guila Boss Dungeon

Guila can be challenged from the Dungeons menu.

Also Appears as a Story Boss

Guila also appears as a boss in Act 9 of the Main Story. While some rewards and stats may differ, the strategy is the same as the Dungeon version.

Benefits of Farming Guila

Farm Engraved Equipment Materials

Engraved Equipment Materials

You can obtain the Star Guardian series Bottoms and Combat Boots needed to craft Engraved Equipment. The Top and Belt drop from the Boss Challenge "Corrupted" Warden Orgot, so it's recommended to farm both together.

Craft the Life Crystal 4-Piece Set

Life Crystal Armors

Clearing Nightmare difficulty or higher lets you obtain the Life Crystal series Top and Ring. The reward "Intact Magic Bead Decoration" is also a Crafting Material for the Life Crystal series, so aim to grind until you complete the full 4-piece or 7-piece Set.

Best for Tanks and Support

The Life Crystal series Set Effect grants Perseverance and Tag Gauge recovery when hit, making it ideal for Tanks and Support heroes. Equip it on your party members to boost their utility.

Recommended Team Comps & Heroes

Earth Element Team Comp Example

This comp is built around Diane, an Earth element DPS who exploits Guila's Weakness Element. Use King to build Burst and boost Earth element damage, then unleash powerful hits with Diane. The comp runs two Healers, but if you're taking minimal damage, consider swapping one out for another Earth hero or Support.

Meliodas Comp is Also Strong

Meliodas is a powerful DPS who can output high DPS regardless of enemy or team comp. If you own him, running a Meliodas-centered build is a solid option. The example here pairs him with a Fire-element comp, but other elements work just as well.

Recommended Heroes

DianeDiane- Earth element Burst DPS.
- Axe deals heavy damage with high DPS potential.
KingKing- Burst gauge support & supports Earth element allies.
- Buffs all Earth element heroes in the party
MeliodasMeliodas- Darkness element Burst DPS.
- Highly flexible team comp; works in almost any build

Earth element heroes that exploit Guila's weakness are highly recommended. Run Diane as your Main DPS and use your other heroes to support her, maximizing overall DPS.

Basic Playstyle for the Guila Fight

Purify Crystals on Your Way to Guila

Purify Crystals

Once inside the Dungeon, use the Book of Stars to Purify the Corrupted crystals as you advance. Follow the on-screen destination marker shown by the icon to navigate your way forward.

Use the Windways to Skip Ahead

From the Start, hop on the jump pad behind you to launch into the air, then follow the Windways to skip directly to the boss. Be careful not to touch any gates except the final one, or you'll be sent back to the starting point.

Learn Guila's Attack Patterns

Once the battle with Guila begins, learn her attack patterns. Her claw-based melee combos are the main threat, with multi-hit sequences that can quickly drain HP. Read each animation’s range to position effectively and reduce damage.

Always Dodge the Final Hit of Each Combo

The final hit of Guila’s combo strings is the most dangerous. Watch for her tell, a brief flash or wind-up before the last strike, and use it as your cue to dodge.

Ranged Attacks Are Limited; Maintain Distance

While Guila's melee pressure is relentless, she has very few ranged options, so putting some distance between you will give you breathing room. When your HP is low, and you're in danger, back off, use a Potion, and reset with your Skills.

Watch Out for Charge & Jump Attacks

Her only true ranged attack is tossing a dark orb, but she can close the gap with a charge or a Jump into a Melee Strike. Don't get complacent just because you've created distance.

Explosion After Her Backstep Hits Hard

When Guila leaps backward, her previous position explodes with a large radius and high damage. As soon as you see the backstep, prioritize moving out of the area immediately.

Watch Out for Her Spreading Flame AoE

Guila may end her combos by spawning black flames that inflict high DoT in the surrounding area. You can counterattack through gaps in the unburned ground, but it is safer to keep your distance until the effect fades.

Guila Boss Combat Tips

Below Nightmare; No Need to Rush

Can Heal from Far Away

Difficulties below Nightmare have no time limit, so taking your time is perfectly fine. When things get dicey, back off to recover HP and chip away at the enemy steadily.

Punish Openings

Punish Openings

Guila has many attacks with wide ranges and tricky Animations that are hard to Dodge. Play a disciplined Hit-and-Run Playstyle, never miss an opening, and read her movements to anticipate what's coming next.

Preparation for Guila

Meet the Recommended Battle Power

Meet the Recommended Battle Power

Before tackling high-difficulty Dungeons or Boss Challenges, always check the recommended battle power for that stage before jumping in. On timed stages, insufficient battle power will make it nearly impossible to complete the stage within the time limit.

Character Progression Priority

Try Multiplayer

If you're struggling solo, teaming up in multiplayer is a great option. Take on tough enemies with other players and grab those Rewards together.

How to Play Multiplayer

Assign Potions to Your Quick Slot

Potions in Quick Slot

When taking on tough bosses, it's recommended to assign HP Recovery Potions to your Quick Slot in advance. Having them assigned lets you instantly recover HP mid-fight.

HP Recovery and Healer Heroes List
Tip! Items can be assigned to your Quick Slot from the Bag. HP Recovery Potions can also be crafted at the Workbench, so create more as needed.
