To raise the World Level, your Book of Stars level must meet the requirements. You will need to get more experience from progressing through the Main Quest and also by collecting Star Fragments.
How to Level Up the Book of Stars2: Book of Stars Dungeon Challenge
When your Book of Stars meets the requirements, you will be able to unlock the Book of Stars Dungeon challenge. Clearing the dungeons will unlock the next World Level and will also increase the level of the Book of Stars.

You can Change The World Level
You can freely raise or lower your Book of Stars World Level. The World Level can be changed every 5s, so it is recommended to adjust it according to your objective, such as lowering it for exploration and raising it for hunting.
Advantages of Increasing World Level
Get High Rarity Items

As your World Level increases, the equipment and rare resources obtained from Elite Enemies and World Bosses will also increase their rarity and quantity. Increasing your World Level is the most efficient way to collect the rare materials required for weapon enhancements and also for building your characters.
Get High Rarity Materials
Increasing the World Level will give you higher rarity Materials to drop from Elite Bosses and Field Bosses. They are needed for the enhancement of a character's weapon Mastery, so make sure to clear them more often so you can farm these materials and build your characters more efficiently.
Monsters HP Will Also Increase
Maximize your Pet collection efficiency by defeating bosses on a higher World Rank. Because enemies have more health at these levels, you can lower the monster's HP by changing the world level, and through that, you can easily capture it and use it as a pet.
Note Before Leveling Up World Level
Monsters Will Get Stronger
When you raise the World Level, Field and Elite monsters will become significantly stronger. If you can't defeat them, make sure that you have well-built characters, or if not, make time to enhance all of your characters' builds.
Not Recommended for Exploration
When the World Level increases, it takes longer to defeat monsters, which is not recommended to do during exploration. When focusing on exploration, it's more comfortable and efficient to lower the World Level.
Check the Other Player's World Levels
When forming a Party through multiplayer, the World Level will automatically be adjusted to the host player's level. Be aware that you cannot join if the host player's World Level is higher than your own.
How to Play in Multiplayer ModeEnemies in Story Quests Won't Change
The monsters and event bosses that appear during the Main Quest are not affected by the World Level. Note that you cannot lower the world level to make the story quest difficulty easier.
