Sample Team & Recommended Heroes
Sample Team
Twigo has no elemental weaknesses, so to maximize Burst damage, build a team with matching Elements. A Fire-based team that can be assembled for free is sufficient for this encounter.
Recommended Characters
| Recommended Character | Reason |
|---|---|
Guila | - All of her weapons are Fire Element - Her Lance is recommended, as she can function as an Attacker |
Tristan | - Easy to build up Fire Burst - Can enhance allies' Fire attacks - Can inflict a Fire DEF debuff on enemies |
Tioreh | - Fire Burst support - Can heal with Switch or Normal Skill |
For an easily accessible Fire team, it is recommended to use the 5★ character Guila as the Main DPS, supported by Tristan and Tioreh. Switching to Tioreh when HP falls below 30% triggers an instant heal, allowing you to recover in critical situations..
Twigo Fight - Basic Strategy
Conserve Stamina (Except When Dodging)
When moving, conserve Stamina by using a single dash to start running and avoiding unnecessary stops. Dashing too frequently can leave you out of Stamina and unable to dodge AoE or strong attacks.
Time Dodges with Attack Cues
Since many of Twigo's attacks lack visible range indicators, focus on dodging by reading his wind-up animations and voice cues. If you are below the recommended Power, even a single hit can remove a large portion of your HP.
Stay Behind Twigo

Twigo primarily attacks in front of him, so positioning behind him is generally recommended. However, he also has an AoE attack centered on himself, so be prepared to create distance at any time.
Use Potions Early

Potions have a 1-minute cooldown, so waiting until your HP is critically low may prevent timely recovery. Be aware of your potion's healing amount and use it proactively to maintain higher HP and ensure greater survivability during the fight.
Twigo Combat Tips
Start Running Immediately
Right after Twigo appears, he unleashes a wide horizontal slash. You can avoid it by starting to run immediately and moving out of his front.
Retreat on Glow and Voice Cue
When Twigo glows, raises his sword, and delivers a voice line, quickly create distance. This signals a Strong Attack that generates a shockwave around him, which deals massive damage if it connects.
Move Out of Attack Indicators
If a rectangular attack range indicator appears, move out of the area. The attack is confined to a narrow area in front of Twigo, making it a good opportunity to reposition behind him.
Dodge the Two-Stage Horizontal Slash
When Twigo pulls his sword to his left, enters a two-stage stance, and emits a blue glow, it signals a horizontal slash. Avoid it by moving out of his frontal cone or by dodging. After reducing his HP by about 30%, the attack evolves into three projectiles, making dodging mandatory.
Get Closer on the Vertical Slash
If Twigo simply pulls his sword back to his left, he will perform a vertical slash straight ahead. Since the attack range is narrow, this is a good opportunity to close the distance while avoiding the strike.
Watch Out for the Wide Stomp + Slash
After reducing his HP by roughly 60-70%, Twigo will stomp and unleash vertical slashes in eight directions from his center. Maintain distance and dodge between the slashes. Watch the stomp carefully, as its wind-up animation is brief.
Preparations for Twigo
Register Potions to Your Quick Slot

When facing Twigo, assign potions to your Quick Slot and hold the Z key to use a potion instantly. Setting this up in advance allows for immediate HP recovery when needed.
HP Recovery Potions can be crafted at a Workbench, purchased from a Merchant, or earned as Quest rewards.
Enhance Your Equipment

| Enhancement Goal | Mastery 30 + Weapon Mastery 2 or Higher |
|---|
It is recommended to fully enhance your characters and equipment. You can clear the fight comfortably if you raise your party's Shared Mastery to 30, achieve Weapon Mastery of 2 or higher, and upgrade your weapons and Armor to meet the recommended Power.
If a single hit removes around 20% of your HP, your build needs improvement. Review all stat sources like Mastery, Weapons, and Armor before attempting the boss again.
