How to Create a Team

Form a Team from "Team Formation"

You can change your team members from the "Team" icon in the menu. You can have up to 4 members in a team, and by using "Quick Formation," you can quickly assemble a team all at once.

Also Switch Weapon Types and Enhance

By selecting a character, you can switch their weapon type. You can also go to the character enhancement screen from "Hero Details."

Team Formation Tips

HP is the Total of All 4 Members

The HP displayed at the bottom of the screen is based on the total HP of all team members. It's best to form a team of four members, and by leveling up characters and Armor evenly, you will be better able to withstand enemy attacks.

Have One Healer

In 7DSO, HP does not automatically recover even when out of combat, so having a character with a healing skill can help you save items. If the healing skill is on the second or third weapon type, unlock the Mastery to be able to equip that weapon.

Utilize Adventure Skills

Each character has various "Adventure Skills" that help you on your adventure with different effects. By using Adventure Skills that suit your objective, you can progress through your adventure more efficiently.

Check Skills from Character Details

From the skill icon in the bottom right of the Character Details screen, you can check the skills a character possesses.

Make Use of Elemental Buffs

Many characters have skills that increase their damage with a corresponding Elemental Burst, so you can often increase your damage by activating an Elemental Burst. Since only one Elemental Burst can be active at a time, it's recommended to focus on a single element to make the most of it.

Summary of Element Bursts' Effect

Elements	Burst Effect
	Generates a shield for yourself upon activation. Attacking an enemy during Burst enhances the shield.
	If you attack an enemy during Burst, the surrounding enemies also take damage.
	When Burst is inflicted, a wind is generated around the target, damaging and lifting the enemy.
	If you attack an enemy during Burst, an explosion occurs on the target, dealing additional damage.
	A Cold attack during Burst applies Chill Stacks to the target. At 10 Stacks, the enemy becomes Frozen. Attack the Frozen enemy to deal massive damage.
	During Burst, the enemy's Darkness Defense decreases.
	Does not cause a Burst, but increases the Burst gauge of the last accumulated Element.
	Does not cause a Burst, but increases the Burst gauge of the last accumulated Element.

Create a Balanced Team for Exploration

When focusing on exploration rather than damage output, it makes things easier to create an exploration team with characters good for mobility, a healer, and characters of Elements you're missing to solve gimmicks.
