Longsword Hendrickson Strategy Tips

Support that Creates Healing Zones

Longsword Hendrickson can generate a Healing Zone with his Ultimate Move, and can also perform Magic Recovery and grant a Defense buff with his Passive and Normal Skill respectively, making him an all-around versatile supporter. His Holy element is another key point, making it easy to include him in a party without being restricted by Elements.

Increases Healing Efficiency

Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO) - Healing Increase

The Longsword's Special Attack enhances HP Recovery. So be sure to use it to increase the amount of healing before using his Ultimate Move. Note that the buff will not be applied if the attack misses.

Tag in to Heal and Charge Magic

Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO) - Longsword Hendrickson

Although he needs to activate his Ultimate Move to heal, he can quickly fill the Magic Gauge through his Passive and his Tag Skill. You can also utilize the Magic Gauge for other characters' Ultimate Moves, making him a very user-friendly character.

Dual Swords Hendrickson Strategy Tips

DPS with Movement Speed Debuffs

Dual Swords Hendrickson is an Attacker who deals damage to enemies that are slowed. Use his Ultimate Move to inflict movement speed reduction and gain the upper hand in battle. It is also recommended to pair him with Nunchaku Diane, who can also inflict slows.

Increased Crit Against Slowed Enemies

Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO) - Dual Swords Hendrickson

Hendrickson's Passive and Special Attack enhance his Crit Chance when attacking enemies that are slowed. Since he has many Crit-related effects, try raising his Crit Chance through equipment or allies' skills to land critical strikes more consistently.

Special Attack Also Stuns

The Special Attack can Stun targets, however immobilizing effects cannot be applied to some bosses. You will need to be selective about when to use it. The most effective scenarios are times when you are facing multiple, smaller enemies.

Use Normal Skill to Backstab Enemies

Hitting enemies from behind with your Normal Skill increases Crit Damage. Aim to hit your enemy from behind consistently. The Special Attack also has an effect that moves you behind the enemy, so combining them can be a great strategy.

Leverages Berserk State

Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO) - Berserk

Lance Hendrickson is an Attacker who fights while Berserk, which he enters via his Special Attack. Berserk continuously decreases his HP in exchange for increasing his Crit Chance and Crit Damage. Another powerful aspect is the enhancement of his Normal Skill.

Attacks During Bursts

Lance Hendrickson's Passive and Ultimate Move deal increased damage to enemies while Burst is active. Activate another Element's Burst, then switch to Hendrickson to trigger a Darkness Burst. Since his Ultimate Move cancels the Burst state, you can deal damage more efficiently by using it right before the Burst ends.

Darkness Burst Overwrites Other Bursts

Unlike other Elements, Darkness cannot accumulate Burst on its own. After activating another Element's Burst, dealing Darkness damage will transition the state to a Darkness Burst.

Pair with Healing-Over-Time Characters

To counteract the drawback of the Berserk state, it's best to pair Hendrickson with characters that can provide healing over time. Wand Tioreh is a good choice, as she can create a healing zone via her abilities.

This team composition relies heavily on damage over time (DoT) from Frostbite. It offers great stability by dealing consistent damage without needing to rely on a Burst. Plus, you get solid defensive utility from Mannie's back-stepping Dodge on her Special Attack and Jericho's protective Barrier.

Slater As a Debuffer

Axe Slater serves as a strong debuffer who inflicts "Bleed" and "Deep Wound." The "Deep Wound" effect is especially useful for drastically increasing the damage enemies take. Because it doesn't have any elemental restrictions, Slater slots perfectly into a wide variety of team setups.
