The Frogs and Ocarina Playing minigame in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time can be started from the log in Zora's River as a child. Stand on the tip of the log at the upper center of the map and ready your ocarina, and a frog will appear.

Fabulous Five Froggish Tenors in Ocarina of Time becomes available after playing a specific melody in front of the frogs. Play the notes that correspond to each of the 5 frogs in order to clear the minigame, and you'll receive a reward upon success.
Play a Specific Melody in Front of the Frogs

Move to the end of the log and take out your Ocarina to play a specific melody. First play the Song of Storms, then play Zelda's Lullaby, Epona's Song, Saria's Song, the Song of Time, and the Sun's Song in any order to enter the minigame.
Play Notes that Correspond to Each of the 5 Frogs

The insect that appears above a frog marks which frog to play next. Play the corresponding frog's note in the correct order to clear the minigame, and if you succeed all the way through you'll receive a prize.
Frog Order on First Attempt Is Fixed

On your first attempt, the order in which the frogs croak is fixed. You can clear it easily by memorizing the pattern, but from the second attempt onward the order changes randomly, increasing the difficulty.

In the Frogs and Ocarina Playing minigame in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you receive a reward the first time you play each melody. You can get a Piece of Heart on your first clear and when you play the Song of Storms, while every other song rewards you with 50 Rupees.
