How to Defeat Bongo Bongo
In the Ocarina of Time's Bongo Bongo Boss, attack each hand one at a time with the Bow. Stunning both hands will expose his weak point, the eye. Once the weak point is exposed, equip the Lens of Truth to reveal the main body, then attack.
Z-Target One Hand and Stun It With Bow
Start by Z-targeting one of the hands and stunning it with the Bow. A stunned hand turns blue and stops attacking for a short time.
Avoid Getting Grabbed or Crushed
After one hand is stunned, the other will become more aggressive and attempt to grab or crush you. Dodge its attacks or keep your distance while shooting it with the Bow.
Stun Both Hands to Expose Weak Point
While one hand is stunned and glowing blue, hit the other hand with the Bow as well. Once both hands are stunned, his weak point, the eye, will appear.
Use Lens of Truth and Attack When It Charges
Equip the Lens of Truth to make the main body visible, then shoot the eye with the Bow as it charges at you. Stun it with the Bow, then follow up with sword attacks on the eye to deal maximum damage.
Tip! | If you have the Biggoron Sword, equip it during the stun phase to deal twice the damage of the Master Sword. |

Keep the Lens of Truth On

Each time you stun a hand, it may drop a Magic Jar that restores a portion of your Magic Meter when collected. So it's recommended to keep the Lens of Truth on at all times.
Equip Hover Boots to Avoid Slamming Hands

When the hands slam the floor, the bouncing makes it difficult to aim with the Bow, so equip the Hover Boots. Use the Bow to stop Bongo Bongo's charge, then remove the Hover Boots before moving in to attack, as they cause you to slide.
Tip! | Hover Boots are optional. If you can quickly stun both hands, you can defeat Bongo Bongo without needing them. |
