  1. Ocarina of Time のGohma

    Strategy
    - Shoot the eye with your slingshot to create an opening
    - When the eye turns red, dodge then attack
    - Break the eggs before they hatch
  2. Ocarina of Time のKing Dodongo

    Strategy
    - When it opens its mouth to breath fire, throw a bomb into it
    - nWhen it flinches, attack it 1-2 times, then immediately guard with your shield
  3. Ocarina of Time のBarinade

    Strategy
    - Attack the tentacles on the ceiling with the Boomerang
    - Focus on its main body to stop the Jellyfish movements, then destroy the Jellyfish
    - Once all the Jellyfish are defeated, attack the main body
  4. Ocarina of Time のPhantom Ganon

    Strategy
    - Shoot it with the bow as it emerges from one of the paintings
    - If you stand right in front of the painting where Phantom Ganon came out, the lightning will not hit you
    - In phase 2, deflect the projectiles back to Phantom Ganon with your sword
  5. Ocarina of Time のVolvagia
    Location

    Strategy
    - Hit it with the Hammer when it comes out of the hole
    - Avoid the rock barrage attack by staying on the edge of the platform
    - Use the bow while it is in the air
  6. Ocarina of Time のDark Link
    Location

    Strategy
    - Attack after Dark Link evades
    - Din's Fire is effective against the boss
    - After taking damage, Dark Link will teleport behind Link
  7. Ocarina of Time のMorpha
    Location

    Strategy
    - Pull out its core with the Hookshot
    - Play safely since the tentacle attack deals high damage
    - In the second half, the tentacles will increase to two
  8. Ocarina of Time のBongo Bongo

    Strategy
    - Z-Target one hand and shoot with arrows to stagger it
    - While one hand is staggered, focus on the other hand to stagger it as well
    - Use the Lens of Truth to locate the main body, then attack it
  9. Ocarina of Time のTwinrova

    Strategy
    - Use the Mirror Shield to reflect back attacks at Twinrova
    - They will merge together after sustaining enough damage
    - After merging, they will consecutively absorb attacks of the same element
    - After absorbing three times, the attack can be reflected back
  10. Ocarina of Time のGanondorf

    Strategy
    - Deflect the ball of light attack
    - When the ball of light hits Ganondorf, follow up with a Light Arrow
    - For the multi ball of light attack, use a Light Arrow during the wind-up
  11. Ocarina of Time のGanon

    Strategy
    - Get behind Ganon and attack his weak point, the Tail
    - Hit the face with a Light Arrow to stop its movements
    - In the first half, do not use the Master Sword
    - Biggoron's Sword or Megaton Hammer is recommended instead
    - In the second half, fight with the Master Sword

Although each boss has different mechanics, there are tips and tricks that can be applied across all of them. Learn these to make it easier to clear them!

Use Z-Targeting

Use Z-Targeting

Z-Targeting will allow you to lock on to an enemy, making the camera follow them throughout. With this, you will be able to handle the boss' moves and attacks much easier.

Keep a Fairy in an Empty Bottle

Keep a Fairy in an Empty Bottle

By having a fairy in an empty bottle, you will revive automatically if get slain during the boss fight. You can carry up to 4 of these, allowing you to revive up to 4 times.

Save Anywhere Before the Boss Fight

Save Anywhere Before the Boss Fight

Make use of the Save Anywhere option (Switch version) to be able to load back right before the boss fight in case you lose to it. It's best to do this right before entering into a boss fight. You can Save Anywhere by pressing the Minus Button.

Restock Items Before the Boss Fight

Besides saving, it's also best to restock on items first before you head into a boss fight. You can also raid for items in the pots near the boss room since they often drop fairies or hearts.
