How to Defeat Barinade
Defeating Barinade requires understanding its attack patterns. Follow the proper attack sequence to defeat it efficiently.
Use the Boomerang on Ceiling Tentacles
At the start of the boss fight, Barinade will be connected to the ceiling through its tentacles. Use your Boomerang to attack and detach the tentacles, and bring down its body to the ground.
Attack Main Body to Stop Jellyfish
Barinade will summon Jellyfish that circle its main body. Attack the main body with the Boomerang to stop the Jellyfish from moving. Once the Jellyfish are detached, use the Boomerang or the Deku Nuts to destroy them.
Tip! | While the Jellyfish orbit Barinade, it will gradually move toward you. Keep moving or circle around Barinade to avoid the Jellyfish and prevent yourself from getting cornered. |

Defeat All the Jellyfish Then Attack Body
Once you defeat all the Jellyfish, Barinade's main body will move around and unleash powerful electric attacks. Use your Boomerang to keep distance and stun it, then strike it with your sword while it's immobilized.
Focus on Dodging During Electric Attacks
The main body may burrow into the ground and deal electric attacks. You cannot damage it in this state, so focus on dodging by strafing sideways instead.
