Don't Miss Items in Each Dungeon
The items you can obtain in each dungeon are extremely important for progressing through the story. In some cases, failing to pick them up can leave you unable to progress, so be sure to open every chest in each dungeon.
Collect Heart Pieces to Increase Max HP
Collecting Heart Pieces as you progress through the story lowers your chances of getting a Game Over. Some Heart Pieces are easy to grab, so try to pick up as many as you can along the way.

Navi will give you hints when you press up on the R Button while "Navi" is displayed at the top of the screen. Talk to her whenever you get stuck on a puzzle in a dungeon. If you press it while locked onto an enemy with Z-Targeting, she'll give you hints about the enemy's weaknesses and characteristics.
Make Use of the Warp Feature
The warp feature becomes available once Sheik teaches you the warp songs. You'll learn them gradually as you progress through the story, so be sure to make full use of them once you do.
Visit the Great Fairy's Fountains
Visiting the six Great Fairy's Fountains rewards you with a variety of useful upgrades. These rewards are extremely helpful for progressing through the story, so we recommend visiting each one.

There are six items in total whose capacity can be increased. Doing so requires completing certain sub-events, but increasing your capacity makes the story much easier to progress through, so it's worth doing.
