How to Play

Set the Ocarina to a C Button

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake Item Screen Ocarina

You can play the Ocarina by setting it to a C Button. When you use the Ocarina with a C Button, you will be able to input the notes according to the score you want to play.

No Effect Without Learning First

Playing the Ocarina will not produce any effect if you have not obtained the score. Make sure to obtain the song you want to activate beforehand.

Two Types of Ocarinas

There are two types of ocarinas. You get the Fairy Ocarina at the very beginning of the game, and as the story progresses, you will use the Ocarina of Time. While there are differences in the story, in terms of gameplay, they are the same Item used to play songs.

Pitch Changes With Left Stick and ZL/R

Raise by a whole tone
Up
Lower by a whole tone
Down
Vibrato
Left or Right
Raise by a semitone
Lower by a semitone

When playing, you can change the pitch by simultaneously pressing the Left Stick, ZL, or R buttons. This only allows you to make differences in pitch and does not affect the song's effect itself.
