Graveyard Digging Tour Location

Digging in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Graveyard Digging Tour is available as Child Link in the Kakariko Village Graveyard when Dampé is present.

Only Available at Night

Sun

Dampé will only offer to dig holes for Link between 9:00PM - 6:00AM. If it's Day time, move to Hyrule Field and wait for time to pass. Alternatively, you can play the Sun's Song to immediately change the time of day.

How to Play and Strategy

Pay 10 Rupees To Play

Entry Fee10 Rupees per try

You can pay Dampé 10 Rupees to dig at his current location. A successful dig will randomly reward either Rupees or a Piece of Heart.

Digging in the Soil Will Yield a Prize

On the soil in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Dampé must be standing on soil for you to receive a prize. Digging while he is standing on stone will not produce a reward.

How to Get the Piece of Heart

The rewards from each successful dig is random, meaning there is no fixed location for the Piece of Heart. If you don't get it, leave and re-enter the Graveyard before trying again.

TipsTip!Move the second gravestone from the left in the first row and the fourth from the right in the second row to reveal a shortcut. Fall into the hole and return to the Graveyard to quickly reset the Digging Tour.

1.Before entering the Graveyard, use the "-" button to create a Save Anywhere file
2.If you don't get the Piece of Heart, load the save and re-enter the Graveyard

In the Graveyard Digging Tour minigame, you can use the Switch version's Save Anywhere feature to get the Piece of Heart without wasting Rupees. Keep in mind that this is different from the original game experience, so consider it one of your options.

Random Gravestones Grant 5 Rupees

Gravestone with 5 Rupees in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Two random gravestones can be moved to reveal 5 Rupees each time you enter the graveyard. You can then infinitely re-enter the graveyard to reset and collect the Rupees again. Note that gravestones that reveal a hole do not grant Rupees.
