Table of Contents
Best Team Builds
DoT-Focused Team
A very powerful team comp centered around Wang Meixing and Akari Minase that deals damage by inflicting status ailments. The limited-time character Wang Meixing and Christmas Akari are essential, so if you're missing either one, the team's power will drop significantly, making it a difficult team comp to build.
| Tip! | Combining Meixing and Christmas Akari creates a highly versatile and powerful team. However, both characters are limited and currently unobtainable, so it is unknown when they will be available again. |
|---|
Additional Damage Focused Team
This is a team that focuses on characters with Additional Damage, and includes Kikoru, who has Additional Damage, and Soshiro, who has good synergy with her. By using Hoshina's "Tremble" debuff together with Chester, you can further increase the power of Additional Damage.
Hyper Carry Team
A team featuring an Attacker + multiple Supports. In this example, buffs from the two Supports and Defender Kikoru boost the damage output of Gen and the rest of the squad. Additionally, Gen's heavy SP consumption is offset by the SP Recovery provided by the highly compatible Kafka.
| Note! | The example team utilizes two Supports, but if you have sufficient durability, it is also viable to replace Kikoru with a Support unit like Chester. |
|---|
Core Exposed-Focused Team
This team primarily enhances the damage of its two Attackers, Hikari Shinomiya and Gen Narumi, through Chester's buffs. It is a composition that features multiple characters capable of targeting various Elements, thereby facilitating the infliction of Core Exposed.
AoE Anti-Miniature Kaiju Build
This squad is tailored for encounters with multiple Miniature-sized Kaiju, making strong use of characters with Blast and AoE attacks to clear waves quickly. While the core setup runs three Attackers for maximum damage and supports the team's damage output with buffs from Sagan and Kikoru, swapping in a Support like Chester can further enhance consistency and overall team performance.

Raid Battle Team
This team focuses on buffing the main Attacker with multiple Supports. Since Defenders aren't needed for tanking in Raid Battles, prioritizing damage is recommended. While this example features Soshiro Hoshina (United Front) as the sole Attacker, optimal teams vary by boss. Be sure to select characters tailored to the specific Support effects and the boss's Plate.
4-Star Team Comp Example
This team focuses on buffing the main Attacker, Kikoru, with buffs from multiple Supports. In addition to the ones mentioned above, Ryo is also an option as a Support.
Raid Battle Event GuideLarge Conquest Team
A team featuring a multi-target Attacker, a DMG-buffing Support, and a Defender. This example assumes a stage with 4-5 miniature enemies, so AoE Attackers like Isao Shinomiya and Rin Shinonome are selected. If facing roughly 3 midsized enemies, swap in Attackers with Blast or ST Attacks as needed.
| Tip 1 | For Large Conquest, character suitability also changes depending on stage effects and enemy Plates, so be sure to choose the most suitable characters for each occasion. |
|---|---|
| Tip 2 | The above is just one example. For the Attacker slot, Sagan (Over Limit), who can buff herself and support allies, is also highly suitable. |
4-Star Team Comp Example
For stages where multiple miniature enemies appear, this team includes Kafka and Haruichi, who have AoE Attacks. Additionally, for the Attacker slot, Eiji, who can perform an AoE Attack with his Ultimate, is also an option. Also, if about 3 midsized enemies appear, consider adding the Attacker Kikoru (The Mission to Be Perfect), and select characters that are well-suited to the enemies.
Large Conquest Event GuideMop-Up Operation Team
A team consisting of four multi-target Attackers. In Mop-Up Operations, rewards scale with Kaiju Neutralizations, making characters with multi-target attacks, Extra Attacks, or fast Ultimate cycles highly effective.
| Tip! | The setup above is just one example. Characters with Multi-Target + Additional Attacks, such as Kikoru (Evolving Talent), are also well-suited for this role. |
|---|
4-Star Team Comp Example
This squad features three Attackers with multi-target skills, plus Haruichi, a Support who also possesses Multi-target Attacks. To maximize your Kaiju Neutralization count, you should prioritize Attackers in your roster who have multi-target capabilities and a high Ultimate recharge rate.
Mop-Up Operation GuideFierce Battle Area Team
A team featuring an ST Attacker, a multi-target Attacker, a DMG-buffing Support, and a Defender. This example is designed for a stage with multiple enemies and a boss. However, since enemy compositions vary by stage, always check the enemy intel to select the most suitable characters.
| Tip! | Also, suitable characters in limited Fierce Battle Area events change based on stage effects, so be sure to check the conditions each time. |
|---|
4-Star Team Comp Example
Similar to the lineup above, this team includes a Single-Target Attacker, an AoE Attacker, a Support, and a Defender. This specific setup assumes you are battling multiple enemies plus a boss. However, for a stage that is strictly a boss battle, you can swap the team to make Soshiro (Blade Specialist) Kikoru's Battle Buddy to boost the main Attacker's damage output.
Fierce Battle Area GuideKaiju Rush Team
A team featuring a multi-target Attacker capable of breaking two Attributes, an ST Attacker, a Support, and a Defender. In Kaiju Rush, you often face a boss after waves of multiple enemies, or encounter enemies with a high number of Plates. Therefore, this team includes both a multi-target Attacker (for dual-Attribute breaking) and an ST Attacker.
| Tip! | Suitable characters also change depending on the Support effects of each area, so check and build your team accordingly. |
|---|---|
| Tip! | Since Kaiju Rush involves debuffs, if survivability is an issue, consider adding a Defender like Sagan to create a double-Defender setup. |
4-Star Team Comp Example
This composition balances Single-Target and AoE Attackers with a Supporter and a Defender. Currently, no 4-Star unit can lower the Resistance of multiple enemies across two Elements. However, if you have the permanent 5-Star character Gen (Japan's Strongest Combatant), he can debuff enemy Resistance using his dual-element AoE Attacks.
| Tip! | Because choosing Strategy Cards is crucial in Kaiju Rush, pick buffs that will further enhance your squad or debuffs with minimal downsides to gain an edge, all while keeping your score in mind. |
