Disassemble Weapons for Other Weapons

In Kaiju No. 8 The Game's Weapon Exchange, you can disassemble weapons obtained from the Gacha to get "Refinement Crystals," which can then be used to exchange for other Gacha weapons. This can be done in the "Weapon Exchange" tab in the Shop.

How to Disassemble Weapons

1. Tap Disassemble

You can disassemble weapons from the menu in the upper right of the home screen > Storage. To disassemble a weapon, first tap "Disassemble" in the lower left of the Storage screen.

2. Select a Weapon and Disassemble It

Select a weapon, tap the "Disassemble" button in the bottom right, then tap OK to complete the process. Note that disassembled weapons cannot be restored, so be careful.

3. Obtain Refinement Crystals

By disassembling 5-Star weapons obtained from the Gacha, you can get Kaijumite III and "Refinement Crystals" used for Weapon Exchange.

Exchange Limits & Deadlines

Note that there is a limit to the number of Weapon Exchanges you can make, as shown in the table above. Therefore, it's recommended to exchange for high-priority items first.

Only Permanent 5-Star Weapons Available

Keep in mind that the 5-Star weapons available in the "Weapon Exchange" tab in the Shop are limited to those that drop from the permanent "THE GAME Gacha."

Best 5-Star Weapon Exchange: GS-3305

For the 5-Star Weapon Exchange in the "Weapon Exchange" tab, GS-3305 is recommended if you have Gen Narumi. He is a reliable Attacker, the only permanent 5-Star character with two Elements, and deals high damage against Core Exposed enemies. Equipping his best-in-slot weapon, GS-3305, significantly boosts his performance.

Choose a Weapon for Owned Characters

If you don't have Gen Narumi, you can prioritize exchanging for a weapon for a character you own.

T-25101985	[Best Character] Mina Ashiro Shot DMG Dealt +20%. Before the wielder uses a Normal Attack, grants the wielder ATK +13% (2 turns) and Ultimate Gauge Charge Rate +7% (2 turns), stacks up to 2 times.
SW-2033	[Best Character] Soshiro Hoshina SPD+25%. After the wielder uses a Normal Attack or Combat Skill, if it is a Critical Hit, grants the wielder DMG dealt +15% (2 turns). Before the wielder uses an AoE Attack, grants the wielder Slash DMG Dealt +15% (1 turn).

Fs-1002	[Best Character] Isao Shinomiya DEF+34%. After the wielder is attacked, grants the wielder DEF +25% (1 turn). If the wielder has a Shield, all allies' DMG Taken Reduction +4%.
