Permanent Stage 29 First Half Tips
First Half Strategy

- Use Shot, Fire, and Ice Characters
- Focus on the Boss
- Defeat Summoned Waterdrops
Use Shot, Fire, and Ice Characters
In the first half of Stage 29, the boss's Plates are Shot, Fire, and Ice. With multiple Plate types present, characters who can break the corresponding Plates, like Reno, Sagan, and Gen Narumi (Future Sight), are excellent choices.
Focus on the Boss
You clear the stage by defeating the central boss, Cryptobranch, so prioritize attacking it. Reducing the total number of rounds helps meet the round count objective.
Defeat Summoned Waterdrops
The Waterdrops summoned by the boss on both sides can be defeated with Fire attacks. Sagan has the Fire Attribute and can Taunt and counter, making her a strong fit. Include her in your team if available.
Permanent Stage 29 Second Half Tips
Second Half Strategy

- Use Shot and Physical Characters
- Prioritize AoE Attack Characters
- Watch Out for Debuffs
Use Shot and Physical Characters
In the second half of Stage 29, the enemy Plates are Shot and Physical. Since no boss appears and only multiple miniature-sized enemies show up, form a team with characters who can break these Plates with multi-target attacks.
Element Effects and Plate Mechanics
Prioritize AoE Attack Characters
Many miniature-sized enemies appear in Stage 29. To gain an advantage, use Blast and AoE Attacks to efficiently break Plates and aim for Core Exposed.
Watch Out for Debuffs
Enemies in the second half inflict debuffs such as Freeze, as well as DoT effects like Poison and Shock. Beyond delaying enemy actions with Core Exposed, including Akari Minase as a healer can help if you're struggling to survive.
Permanent Stage 29 Strategy Tips
Break Plates Efficiently
The enemy Plates in Fierce Battle Area 29 are Shot, Fire, and Ice in the first half, and Shot and Physical in the second half. Efficiently break each Plate to trigger Core Exposed, which slows enemies and increases the damage they take, then unleash your Ultimates.
Level Your Characters to 100
If your characters are below the enemy level during battle, the damage you take increases, making it harder to meet the star condition "Win with 0 incapacitated units." The enemies in Fierce Battle Area 29 are level 100, so challenge it with your characters at Lv. 100.
