Unlock Conditions and Rewards
Unlocked at Player Rank 15
The Promotion Exam to advance to Spec-Ops Rank 2 becomes available once you reach Player Rank 15. After reaching Rank 15, check your messages from Suited under Messages > Special Requests to accept the "Promotion Exam 1" Special Request.

The enemies in Promotion Exam 1 are weak to the Shot and Physical Attributes. For this reason, Gen Narumi, who can reduce multiple Plates, and Rin Shinonome, who has an AoE Attack, are very effective.

Promotion Exam 1 Strategy and Tips
Get Characters to Level 40
If your characters are lower level than the enemies, you'll take more damage, making it harder to clear the stage. To reduce damage, it's recommended to attempt Exam 1 with characters at level 40.
Add Slash and Shot Characters
Enemies in Promotion Exam 1 have Slash, Shot, and Physical Plates. Gen Narumi can reduce 2 Physical Plates at once, making him very effective.
Prioritize Midsized Kaiju in Waves 2 and 3
Midsized Kaiju appear in waves 2 and 3. They have higher durability and attack power than miniature Kaiju, so focus on defeating them first.
