Use Shot and Elemental Characters
The boss in Training "Identified Kaiju Neutralization: Kaiju No. 1" (Difficulty 6) has Shot and Elemental Plates, so make sure to form a team with characters of those types. Reno is a great fit for this fight, as he can break two of the boss's Plates at once.
Element Effects and Plate Mechanics
Break Plates Efficiently
The boss will recover all of its Plates on its own. To gain an advantage in battle, use characters that can break multiple Plates at once to efficiently trigger Core Exposed.
Watch Out for Durability Buffs
The boss uses the skill "Hyper-Sense" to regenerate all Plates and gain DMG Taken Reduction. On its next action, it will regenerate Plates again and add a Shield. Therefore, after the boss gains DMG Taken Reduction, aim to inflict Core Exposed to stop its next action, then unleash focused Ultimates once its Core is Exposed.
