The recommended Gacha in Kaiju No. 8 is the Gen Pick-Up. Gen is a powerful attacker that can quickly destroy Plates, making him a top choice to pull for.

Pickup Gacha Recommendations

Attacker That Can Quickly Break Plates

Destroys 3 Random Plates

Gen has dual-attributes, Slash and Shot, which makes it easier for him to break Plates. Additionally, when enemies are inflicted with the Seen Through state, attacking them 5 times triggers the destruction of 3 random Plates. This allows Gen to break enemy Plates and inflict Core Exposed rapidly.

Grants Multiple Self-Buffs

Gen's Additional Passive gives him a 20% Crit Rate boost when attacking Kaiju with less than 80% HP. He also gains ATK each time he destroys an enemy Plate, stacking up to 5 times.

Recovers SP by Attacking Core Exposed Enemy

When you attack a Core Exposed Kaiju, you can recover 1 SP by activating a Combat Skill. Therefore, when facing a Core Exposed enemy, you can use skills without worrying about SP consumption.

Attacker That Specializes in AoE Attacks

Shinonome is an AoE Attacker, excelling with Combat Skills and Ultimates, making her ideal for stages with many enemies. She is a key character for the ongoing "Large Conquest" event.

Damage Scales With Multiple Enemies

Both of Rin's Ultimate and Combat Skill deal AoE damage. Her Passive Skill allows her to deal more damage when she attacks more Kaiju, making her especially effective in stages with multiple enemies.

Can Spam Her Ultimate

Thanks to her Passive Skill, Rin's Ultimate Gauge charges each time she defeats a Kaiju. Additionally, breaking a Kaiju's Plate with her Ultimate advances her Action Order, enabling frequent Ultimate use.

Keep HP Above 70%

Rin's Additional Passive Skill grants her an ATK buff. Pair her with a Defender to help maintain this buff consistently.

Can Get Past 5-Star Pick-Up Characters & Weapons

In the Gen Narumi/Shinonome Pick-Up Gacha, you can get some 5-Star characters/weapons that were Pick-Up targets in previously held Pick-Up Gachas. Reno and AR-Boreas, Hoshina (United Front) and SW-Susanoo can only be obtained from Pick-Up Gachas, so they're a great pull if you get them off-rate from a Pick-Up Gacha.

250 Pity for Characters, 150 for Weapons

In Kaiju No. 8, you get medals every time you pull from the Gacha. You can exchange 150 medals for a weapon and 250 medals for a character, which effectively serves as the pity system.
