Kaiju No. 8 (Scorching Variant) is a 5-Star Blunt & Fire Dual-Attribute Attacker capable of unleashing Blast Attacks via his Combat Skill and Ultimate.
Boost Damage & Ultimate Rotation With Resolve
Kaiju No. 8 gains a "Resolve" buff whenever he or an ally activates an Ultimate. Stacking up to 6 times, Resolve boosts his Blunt DMG and Ultimate Multiplier. Activating his Ultimate consumes up to 3 stacks, refilling his Ultimate Gauge for each stack used. This makes him an Attacker with rapid Ultimate rotation and self-sustaining damage buffs.
Has Various Offensive Self-Buffs
Beyond Resolve, he secures various offensive buffs through his kit, including boosts to DMG Dealt, Ultimate DMG, ATK, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG. Additionally, his Ultimate and Additional Passive can increase his SPD.

Attacker Who Can Easily Reduce PLTs
Gen possesses two Attributes, Slash and Shot, making it easy for him to reduce plates in battles featuring many enemies with Physical plates. Furthermore, when allies attack a Kaiju in the "Seen Through" state (inflicted by his Ultimate) 5 times, 3 of its PLTs will be randomly broken, allowing him to also excel at exposing the Kaiju's Core.
