Tips for Clearing Fierce Battle Area

Reinforce 8 Characters

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Fierce Battle Area Stage 6 - 11

To succeed in the latter half of the Fierce Battle Area, you'll need two full parties. Because conditions like a limited number of turns and no incapacitated members apply to both squads, you'll need to make sure that all eight characters are upgraded and equipped with the right weapons to succeed.

Reinforcement Priority Guide

Bring One Defender-Class Character in Each Squad

To ensure both squads survive with zero incapacitated characters, make sure to include a Defender-class character in each squad.

Best Defender Characters Brief Evaluation
Isao ShinomiyaIsao Shinomiya - The only permanent 5★ Defender
- Protects allies with Shield
- Also possesses a Damage Buff for all allies
Akari MinaseAkari Minase - A valuable character who can provide Recovery for allies
- Increases Recovery power for allies with low HP
- Can also grant an Ultimate Gauge Charge Rate up
Kota TachibanaKota Tachibana - Easily targeted by enemies, protecting allies
- Hinders enemies with ATK debuff and Freeze
- High Survivability from Self-Generated Shield

Build Your Squad for Core Exposed

In high-difficulty stages, it's essential to delay enemy actions with Resistance Break and increase the damage they take. To do this, check enemy resistances and organize your characters to build a squad that can expose Kaiju cores easily.

Core Exposed Guide

Don't Rush Permanent Stages

Permanent stages are extremely challenging, with enemies at level 50 or higher in later sections. The good news is that you can attempt them at any time, so it's wise to raise your Player Rank and Special Ops Rank to properly upgrade and reinforce your characters before you take this challenge head on.

How to Increase Player Rank

Best Squads for Stages 12- 15

Permanent Stage 12 Best Squads

Stage 12 Squad 1

In the first half of Stage 12, enemies have Slash and Physical Plates. This team is built with Physical characters to easily break the Plates. Although Kaiju No. 8 can only break Physical Plates in this half, most enemies in this stage are Miniature-class, which he can execute with his skill once they fall below 50% HP.

Stage 12 Squad 2

In the second half of Stage 12, all enemies have Physical Plates, so you can use any Attacker with Slash, Blunt, or Pierce. Gen Narumi is highly recommended, as his Blast Attack skill can easily trigger the "Core Exposed" state, allowing you to deal more damage.

Permanent Stage 13 Best Squads

Stage 13 Squad 1

In the first half of Stage 13, all enemies have Blunt and Physical Plates. Since they are all Miniature-class, Kaiju No. 8 can execute them once their HP drops below 50%. Soshiro deals bonus damage to Miniature-class, helping reduce their HP quickly, while Isao supports by breaking Blunt Plates and providing shields.

Stage 13 Squad 2

All enemies in Stage 13 second half have Physical Plates, so you can use any Attacker with Slash, Blunt, or Pierce attributes. Gen and Reno act as the main damage dealers and breaking Plates, while Mina provides buffs for them.

Permanent Stage 14 Best Squads

Stage 14 Squad 1

In the first half of Stage 14, enemies have a mix of Elemental and Physical Plates. Reno and Sagan can handle breaking Elemental Plates, while Gen focuses on Physical Plates. If you find it hard to survive due to Poison, consider adding Akari to your team.

Stage 14 Squad 2

All enemies in the second half of Stage 14 have Physical Plates, so you can use any Attacker with Slash, Blunt, or Pierce. Focus on defeating Camponotus Yoju first on the second and third wave, as it can summon additional Kaiju and slow down your clear time.

Permanent Stage 15 Best Squads

Stage 15 Squad 1

In the first half of Stage 15, you'll face Kaiju No. 10 (Humanoid). Kaiju No. 8 is currently the only 5★ Blunt attacker, so include him if you have him. Kikoru's Ultimate is also useful here, as she can apply DEF reduction to the boss when she has 3 stacks of her passive.

Stage 15 Squad 2

In the second half of Stage 15, you'll face the giant-class Kaiju No. 10. 5★ Mina excels in this stage, as her Passive lets her deal increased damage to giant-class Kaiju. Manage her Focus stacks carefully, and aim to use her Ultimate when you have 3 stacks to guarantee a Crit Hit, thanks to her Passive Skill 2. Reno provides extra damage and Freeze utility to delay enemy actions.

Note! Both halves of Stage 15 end once Kaiju No. 10 is defeated. If you can burst it down quickly, focus all attacks on it while tanking hits and delay enemy actions with debuffs and Core Exposed.
