How Action Order is Determined
Determined by the "SPD" Stat
In Kaiju No. 8 The Game, the Action Order is determined by the "SPD" of characters and Kaiju. Characters with higher SPD will act first within your Squad.
Can Be Changed with Skills, etc.
Action Order can be changed by applying the "Freeze" debuff, triggering Core Exposed, or using character skills.
Characters with Same SPD Follow Squad Order
If SPD is the same, characters act in the order they are placed in the Squad. For characters with the same SPD, place the one you want to act first on the left.
Ultimates Can Interrupt Action Order Anytime
Ultimates can be activated at any time to interrupt, regardless of the Action Order. Once a character's gauge is full, they can unleash their Ultimate without waiting for their turn.
Cannot Interrupt During Kaiju's Extra Action
When a Kaiju uses "Extra Action," Ultimates and Counterattacks cannot be used to interrupt.
Certain Kaiju Use Interrupt Actions
Some Kaiju can use interrupt actions, and they will act while ignoring the timeline and Action Order.
How to Check the Action Order
Displayed at the Bottom of the Battle Screen
The Action Order in Kaiju No. 8 is displayed at the bottom of the battle screen. The character with the enlarged icon on the far right is the one currently taking their turn.
