Promotion Exam 2 Strategy and Tips

Level Characters to 70

If your level is lower than the enemies', you'll take more damage, making the stage harder to clear. Since the enemies are level 70, it's recommended to attempt Promotion Exam 2 with characters at level 70.

Reinforcement Priority Guide

Build a Blunt and Elemental Squad

Promotion Exam 2

The enemy Plates in Promotion Exam 2 are Blunt, Elemental, and Common. Include Blunt and Elemental characters in your squad. Note that Common Plates can be broken by attacks from all 8 Attributes.

Element Effects and Plate Mechanics

Reduce Enemy Plates Efficiently

Multiple enemies appear, so use multi-target attacks to lower their Plates and aim for Core Exposed. Gen Narumi is highly effective, as he can reduce two Plates at once with his multi-target attack. Use him if available.

Core Exposed Guide

Watch Out for Poison

Watch Out for Poison

The "Phaneroplasmodium: Poison Subspecies" in Wave 2 inflicts Poison (DoT). Include Akari Minase for Recovery if survivability is a concern.

Prioritize Midsized Kaiju in Wave 3

Wave 3 features midsized and miniature Kaiju. Since midsized Kaiju have higher durability and attack, take them out first.
