Story

You can earn Player EXP by progressing through Story Mode. While it's a one-time reward, it doesn't require stamina or items, making it the best place to start.
Available in Non-Combat Stages

In Story Mode, stages with combat grant 100 Player EXP, while stages without combat grant 30. These rewards are available in both the Main Story and Memories.
Gain EXP in Character Story Episode 3
Player EXP can also be earned from Character Stories. Episodes 1 and 2 only reward Dimensional Crystals, but Episode 3 grants 100 Player EXP.
Daily Missions

In the daily-resetting Daily Missions, you can earn up to 1,000 Player EXP. They also reward Dimensional Crystals and Reinforce materials, so be sure to complete them every day.
Training

In Training, each clear awards 50 Player EXP. The amount of Player EXP is fixed regardless of difficulty, and using Skips grants EXP for each skipped attempt.
Beginner's Guide

Each time you complete a step in the Beginner's Guide, you earn Player EXP as a reward. If you're close to finishing a step, focus on completing its missions to claim the reward.
Benefits of Player Rank Up
Get Rewards Based on Rank

In Kaiju No. 8: The Game, each Player Rank comes with set rewards. Rank up to earn Enhance materials, Gacha Tickets, and more, so be proactive about increasing your rank.
Can Increase Special Ops Rank
When your Player Rank reaches a certain level, you'll face a Promotion Test. Clearing it raises your Special Ops Rank, which affects character level caps, training difficulty, and unlocks new content. Raising your Player Rank is key to strengthening your team.
