How to Get Silver
Gather from Caves
Silver is obtained by exploring underwater caves and rocky terrains. Smaller Silver deposits can be picked up directly, but larger deposits will require the Sonic Resonator.
Look for "Green Flowers"
Silver is often found in caves that also have these green and purple "flowers" growing along the walls. If you see a cave with these growing along the walls, the chances are good that there's also Silver inside.

There is a cave underneath a tall "coral structure" just north of the Lifepod in the Shallows (Starting) biome. There is a pocket of breathable oxygen inside this cave, and there is additional Silver if you can explore the cave further than the point shown in the video.
Late Game Silver Location

Found in the Root Canyon while following one of "roots" belonging to the Large Angel Comb under the Power Plant, Make sure to fabricate and use the Sonic Resonator to mine Silver from this location.
How to Use Silver and Crafting List
Important Crafting Material
Silver is used to craft many important items such as Wiring Kits, Standard Oxygen Tanks, and Ingots, which are then used to fabricate other things. You can finish the game without needing a lot of Silver, but it is a resource that will be useful at all points of the game.
